finally replaced out old spring mattress. like any of those mattresses in a box there is a smell when first opened. Just leave it sit for a day or so as it expands and it will quickly disappear. We got the full size and being 12 inches tall it provides great support and the first few nights of sleep have been great. It provides good motion isolation as well. We are happy with it so far!
