My prior mattress was like a rock, if I could liken it to anything, it was like the floor. I started with hip pain, to the point I couldn’t sleep on my left side (which was my preferred side). I caved and purchased this mattress. It came faster than I expected which was a perk. When I removed the mattress from the packaging it had a slight order (this faded within a day). The mattress quickly rose to the full 12 inches. I was able to sleep on the first night. AND SLEEP I DID. Typically I spent a lot of time toss and turning on my old mattress, but I passed out immediately. And let me tell you what, within the last week, my hip pain is nonexistent. This mattress worked like a dream. The memory foam perfectly cradles your body, and provides a lot of support. It’s a wonderful mattress for $300. Worth every penny ... show more

Had it for a few years now I believe. Took some getting used to, not the most comfortable. Got a mattress pad that helped. Would recommend not sitting on the edges to get dressed or anything, as it slowly flattens it.
