It's mostly fine, if you count being able to put together a bedframe 85% of the way. Everything was fine on assembling the floor/base frame. Slipping the headboard into that base frame also fine. It's when we added the L and R wings on the side of the headboard -- the screw holes were just off, the last two screws at the top of the whole thing that hold the sides in just won't fit. So we put the frame together minus being open on the right and left sides of the headboard, sort of like splayed or broken wings. Not sure what to say besides meh and pretty disappointed but I guess you get what you pay for??

Product was visibly dirty , back of headboard frame had water spots possibly mildew . Smelled very moldy .structure good but definitely has been sitting somewhere rotting . Strangely the box was dry and not damaged

We've had a lot of flat pack furniture, for better for worse. This is a good piece. It's solid, attractive, simple but not cheap looking, and doesn't give the appearance or feel of flat pack furniture. The cushion headrest and the cushioning on the side rails and footboard hide that flat pack vibe. It's also surprisingly light for as sturdy as it is. It doesn't squeak or complain. Mind you, we've only got one person in it, but it works well for one person environments. The bed went together fairly easily, although it is best as a two person job. You ^can^ do it yourself, but you're probably going to get frustrated. The included tools were helpful, and if you have a drill with a standard larger 6 point allen bit it will go even faster. With two people, the entire construction took a bit longer than half an hour. Notes. The center support beam has foldable legs that are brought down, then screwed & locked into place for better stability. Make them tight. Also, when putting the support legs on the headboard, make sure the mounting bolts are facing towards the padded side or the boards won't go! That caused a minute of head scratching. Lastly, when laying the slats down, pull the Velcro tight and make sure it presses together firmly. This is the first time I've ever seen Velcro used to hold bed slats in place. It's a simple idea and so far it seems to be working! If the Velcro gives out over time I will update this review. But at the moment the mattress is staying in place, the entirety looks good and the bed is comfy.
