It's really comfortable. I feel like it could have been a little bit thicker that would have been nice but I can't really complain for the price that I paid. But I want to tell you right now the best thing you can do is pull it out and let it fluff up before you lay on it for at least 48 to 72 hours and let it completely fluff out. I have a foam mattress that is only maybe two years old. It is still pretty comfortable but I find that I get sore in certain pressure points. I've tried foam toppers and they have the same results, plus they are really hot to sleep on. This mattress topper relieves the soreness. It isn't as full as it appears in the listing photo, but the one I got is four inches thick on the edges and thicker in the center. If it were any thicker I would have trouble getting even my deep pocket sheets over it. In addition to being thick, it is wider than the mattress, so there is no shifting. The mattress is fully covered. I do worry about it not being washable. It says not to dry clean or machine wash. Of course, I can't wash my mattress, either, but I have had that encased in a waterproof, allergy proof cover since I got it. There is no cover for this topper. Dust mites love bedding, so not being able to wash it may be an issue. That's on me for not clearly reading the washing instructions though. ... show more

I use my topper for a very firm couch that pulls out to a sleeper sofa. So when I got it I was really worried because I expected it to be a little firmer but it was very flimsy feeling. But I saw it had instructions to let it fluff up for 3 days. We only let it air fluff up because there was something in the dryer when it came in. While I waited for it to fluff up I began to read reviews and started to worry that it was not going to do the job I wanted. Thankfully though now 4 days later it is super fluffy and comfortable. It does not hold a firm rectangle shape if that’s what you’re going for, but if you need some extra pillowy cushion to make a surface less hard, this may be what you want. Adds just a little extra comfort to my tuft and needle foam mattress and has alleviated periodic shoulder pain from nights I sleep on a side so I am happy about that. It does have straps to hold it in place but I specifically bought an extra 100% cotton fitted sheet to place on top of it Because I wanted to ensure it stayed where it should. I was wondering if I needed to replace my mattress with a regular non-foam mattress because of periodic shoulder pain but this has resolved those questions. I have an extra bedroom so I was able to fully lay it out 72hrs before placing on my bed which the instructions recommended. Has worked for me and I am very happy with it. In 2019 I spent about $700 - $800 on my current foam mattress so I am happy I don’t need a more expensive new mattress for comfort. 10+ years ago I was in a rollover vehicle accident ejected from no seatbelt and sleep fine with this extra padding on top of firm foam mattress. Bought this due to shoulder issues I was having. I'm the chick who only uses her bed for sleep no lounging. This asked for 3 days for the full set up. It is plush but doesn't stay plush. I wish there was just a little memory form under the feathers.

*I got Cube White - King* I have never written a review on Amazon in my life, but THIS IS SO GOOD! I have a memory foam mattress and this is perfect on top of it. I used it for the first time night and I’m not being paid to say this, I was late to work this morning because I was a little angel in a cloud and couldn’t be bothered. Plus, It is actually as thick as in the photo! It’s a tiny bit oversized, but I personally like that. Since it’s so thick it sticks out, but thanks to it being a little long on the sides you can tuck it in. It’s not the material with the feathers that come out and poke you, idk what the difference is in materials but this one is a good one it’s so comfy. Just buy it! Update: Yeah, just as I thought: replacement pad was just a repeat of the first. Thin, not filled pad that was fuller in some areas and really thin in others, making it lumpy. Also not very breathable (as I tried the first pad to see if it was better than it appeared). I gave the replacement 4 days to fluff up and it's STILL thin like the first. Also, it only took a day for the top corner of the pad to start curling upward (the side I sit up in bed most)... so it's constantly pulling my sheet off the corner. Which is saying a lot since I have really deep fitted sheets with elastic all the way around (not just the corners). Basically, now I have 2 of these pads that are worthless. I should have just sprung for a 3 inch memory foam topper. Would have been the same price range as this horrible product. This thing is NOT worth $70 Original Review: I thought he bad reviews were a fluke... but, there's no way this is worth even $40. I agree with someone else who likened this to just laying on a comforter. The advertising must be some other brands photo, because it is not what I received... the ad shows seriously FULLY STUFFED topper... what I got? This has got to be a joke! And yes, I gave it over 24 hours to "fluff up." There's no way this thing is going to fluff any bigger than the photos, because all the pockets are literally mostly AIR with little filling (lots of sagging edges cause no filling! On top of that, it's not even equally filled, making it more lumpy than "like sleeping on a cloud," like they claim. Some pockets have more stuffing while others have barely anything. I complained to Amazon about false advertising. They are making a report. They're also issuing me a replacement, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a repeat of what I got. They must have "paid" for a lot of these "great reviews," cause this thing is cheap and serves no real purpose.
