I bought this bunk bed for my guest room, and I have to say, I’m really impressed with how solid it is. Assembly took some time (about 2.5 hours with two people), but the instructions were pretty clear, and all the parts were labeled correctly. The frame itself is very sturdy. no wobbling or creaking, even with adults using it. The twin XL on top comfortably fits a regular mattress, and the guardrails are high enough to feel secure. The ladder is well-placed and doesn't feel flimsy, though I’d recommend putting some padding on the steps if you’ll be climbing up often. The queen-size bottom bed is a nice touch since it allows for more sleeping space without taking up extra room. Looks awesome. Really cool that there’s a queen at the bottom. Some small blemishes that are tough to catch on camera, but no big deal. The warranty is a definite plus. Feels solid and sturdy overall. It's heavy fyi to carry around. I pushed it up the stairs. One man job start to finish. Definitely should ask a friend. Was looking for a bunk bed for my kid and wanted something sturdy and looked nice. Looked through several listings and narrowed it down to a handful. Picked this bunk bed because I liked the way it looked and allowed for a queen bed. What I liked about this one is: -Has a modern appearance and especially like the black color. I like the "square" tubing appearance. -Super sturdy frame. Obviously made out of metal but I like that it has legs in the middle of the frame to keep it from buckling & helps keep it from being wobbly. -What I really like the most was that it fits over a queen! I like that it fits over a queen so if i have a guest they can sleep on a regular sized queen mattress. -Offers a good amount of storage space under the bed. Has enough storage space to put things like toys and small boxes/totes. -Very easy to read and follow instructions. Only 1 person to assemble and took me about an hour to put together. -The rails for the top bed are thick and solid so they prevent your child from easily falling off the top bed. What I didn't like about this one is: -Came in 2 boxes and arrived a few days apart (not sure why it couldn't have been put in 1 big box). -Wish it was packaged a little better & have the pieces wrapped in packaging foam (to prevent it from getting scratched or dented). Overall I am very happy with this bunk bed for the price. It has a modern look/appearance, really good quality and believe it should last for several years. Easy to put together but it looks like a child did the welding on this frame. Majority of the parts were bent or highly damaged. Save your money!

It took me a couple days to get around to doing a review on this after clearing some space for it. I will start by saying this if you have numerous children with limited bedroom space or lack of bedrooms this is definitely for you. It is very well built and does require installation that I would highly suggest doing as a family or with at least one more person if not a second helping hand. Putting the bed grid together for all three tiers can be slightly challenging but after getting into a rhythm it's not overly hard but will be slightly frustrating initially but be patient and figure it out in your own way and it will go together smooth and by the time you're done with it you'll be able to snap these together in no time. Please keep in mind also as the pictures I have included is not fully set up and we do not have the correct size mattresses yet except for the slide out in the bottom. I have read other reviews about the quality of this not being over the top and people crying that they're 8-year-old kid fell down on something and it bent the metal. Keep in mind there is weight limits and when you put velocity and weight onto a round middle support bar for the bed itself it is going to bend because they're not designed to hold weight directly like that it is evenly distributed. The paperwork does say I believe the queen size bed is rated at 350 lb and the full above it is 250. I'm not certain with the slide out twin in the bottom is. We had personally two bunk beds by a different brand that works very similar design but this one has a much stronger feel to it. A couple key things I would do when installing is get a decent tee bar Allen wrench to install this instead of the supplied ones and it will go much faster and you will thank me later. Instructions were not bad but I did have issues which this is my only complaint that is probably in manufacturing but certain numbers were not on the correct pieces. Make sure on the bottom bunk bed front frame which I believe that the number was 10 on that piece that you need to put the holes on the top and the bottom to the right hand side of the bed looking at it as that is for your ladder and if you don't you have to take it off flip it over and then put all those square support bars for the mattress back in place and it can be kind of frustrating but this is not different than any other brand that I have tried personally. Take your time and enjoy and it'll be worth it if you try to rush it you'll probably get frustrated. All pieces and hardware were included but again keep in mind there are no mattresses! Our youngest daughter now wants one but I would probably get a slightly smaller version with smaller bunk beds itself for space saving. ... show more
