The bed came very quickly in the mail, and with shipping to Alaska there was no additional cost which was a huge bonus. The setup was really straightforward and my husband and I were able to put the bed together in about an hour. The set up stage would probably have been quicker however the bed we received was clearly a return, as some pieces were set together (from step one) and a bit of the screws were missing. We were lucky because we keep all spares from other projects and were able to find what was missing and be able to put together the bed. If it wasn’t for the missing screws we would have had it set up quicker than the hour we did take. So far the bed has held up wonderfully. There’s some slight creaking, if you know you know. But nothing that’s been so horrendous like our last bed. I love the height of the bed and the fact that I can store things under there again out of the way.

I picked this bed frame because it was one of the only ones in this price range where the reviews said it was easy to put together and I have to agree. It probably took two of us about an hour from opening the box to finishing. Everything fit together as expected, the instructions were easy to follow and the pieces were well marked. I do think a single person could put this together on their own with just a few tricky areas where you'd have to balance things as you stand them up. Heads up, the box it comes in is VERY heavy too. Had I been putting it together alone, I would have had to open the box and carry the pieces upstairs in smaller bundles. I think the bed frame looks very nice. It's simple, standard black metal. The mattress sits nicely between the head and footboard without sliding around which was another of my hopes for this frame. I'm really pleased with sleeping on it. There's very little movement or sound during the night. For reference, the two of us are on the larger size, plus add two dogs to the mix, so for all that commotion, I'm really happy with how it's performing. The only negative was from my husband. The way he props his pillows for sleeping was making them slip through the bars of the headboard. I think we've solved that with another strategically placed pillow so that issue is hopefully solved but just something to be aware of. Overall I'm very happy with this and recommend!

I was able to put this bed together myself easily. I only grumbled once and it was because I dropped a piece on my toe. The instructions were easy to follow, pieces easily labeled, and the bed frame is very sturdy. We specifically got it for our 4 year so we could snuggle with him at night. It holds my husband, myself, our son, and our giant dog without feeling like it’s going to break into a million pieces.

This bed frame is sturdy, it was a bit complicated to assemble, but the dimensions are off. I added a queen sized mattress and had to stuff it into the length of the bed frame. It is for a rental unit so I didnt send it back
