I purchased this mattress for my 10 year-old granddaughter. It inflated evenly with no issues and no smell. I personally thought it was a little firm, but my granddaughter has been sleeping on it and loves it. I purchased the 10 inch mattress just to make sure there was enough support.

Ultimately, you get what you pay for, but this was better than expected. My house came furnished with a pillow top mattress of unknown age that got to be just completely worn out and was hurting my back. I'm totally broke and can't afford a "real" mattress, and I figured that even the worst cheap new mattress has to be better than one that's totally worn out. It's a bit hard, but definitely vastly improved with a super cheap egg crate style topper. Decent edge strength when sitting up on the side, better than expected for foam. It's weirdly difficult to reposition yourself on this mattress, like instead of being bouncy it sort of sucks you in. Not a bad thing, I easily find a comfortable spot and just don't need to toss and turn. It's just a little weird at first. I love that being not a pillow top, sheets fit very nicely. I don't expect it to last long. Hopefully it will last until my financial situation improves. For now, it's definitely a lot better than an old worn out mattress. My back feels a lot better. If you're as broke as I am and desperately need a mattress, this is a fine choice. But if you're not broke, meh, wouldn't be my first pick.

The bed is very great value for the price. It is a little stiff, but I'm sure after breaking it in, it will get softer. The only bad thing about the bed is that it smells like industrial paint, and it's strong. The smell isn't so bad after throwing freshly cleaned sheets over it though. It's a good bed, you get what you pay for.

This mattress sucks. I purchased a comfy mattress cover and that made it ok for a while. Over time this mattress made my back and hip hurt. Didn't realize it was this mattress causing it until I went to a hotel on vacation. I slept like a baby on the hotel mattress and had no pain at all. For months prior to this, I had been wrecking my brain trying to figure out why I was hurting so bad. Finally after staying at the hotel I realized what It was. I'd also like to add that when you sit on the side of the bed, you sink down into the mattress deeply. It has no support whatsoever.
