I needed a new mattress for the top bunk because someone gifted us a mattress but it was too tall. I was surprised how thin it was in the plastic but once it rolled out, it started to fluff up. My son wrestles and plays football so he always complains about something hurting. This is a medium firm bed which is what I read that would help ease some pain. He told me the day after he slept in it that it was really comfortable because it felt like it had good support. This was a good price range for this mattress and good quality.
