So my wife and I bought this mattress for two main reasons: we had just moved and desperately needed a bed now, and the 'shipped in a box' thing meant we didn't need a giant truck to haul it around. Honestly, we were blown away. We're medium firm mattress people, and this hybrid totally hits the spot. It gives you that solid, stable support we love without feeling like you’re sleeping on a literal plank of wood. Plus, our doctor actually told us that medium firm is better for long term spinal health, so that was a huge bonus! If you like the stability but prefer something softer, you could totally throw a plush topper on it. But we don't need one, it sleeps perfectly for us! I don't wake up with the nagging back or hip pain I used to get on our old spring mattress. The quality is seriously impressive, too. It feels super luxurious, the pattern is simple and chic, and the stitching is rock solid. Can't find really any faults with this mattress. I sleep well on it. It fits the frame well. It's not noisy. It expanded well. Overall a very quality mattress. It's not a top top top tier mattress that would cost ya 3 grand, but it's definitely worth every penny I spent on it!
