I was worried about purchasing a mattress in a box but I needed an organic mattress that fit my budget and this has been great. Granted, we’ve only been sleeping on it for about 3 months. We also use a latex mattress topper with it. The only downside is that the edge is not very firm. If you sit on the very edge you might slide off lol. Other than that it has been great. We plan to rotate it every few months to keep the wear even. I don’t expect it to last forever but it has been great so far! Easy to set up as well, very heavy. Perfect fit, not too tall for the sheets. I think it works well without a box spring. My husband can move around on his side of the bed and I don’t feel it at all.

If you are going to buy anything especially a mattress sight unseen or untried you better do your homework. There's a lot of good and bad out there and peoples sleeping needs are different. I need a firm mattress and platform but I don't want to feel like I'm lying on a concrete floor or a pile of Gravel. It gets more complicated if you want to conserve space and go for a single minus a box spring. Well there are these new Hybrids which go a long way solving these issues. After a great deal of research I settled on this Mattress. It turned out to be a winner. Very comfortable with great support and you can forego the box spring. (make sure you get a good frame though). You really cant go wrong here. Excellent quality and extremely comfortable. Considering how expensive bedding can be this represents an excellent value. Highly recommended.

I purchased this mattress for a semi co-sleep bed in my baby boy’s room. I need a very environment-friendly mattress that has no odor or harmful chemicals, basically baby proof. This one is labeled as organic material that suits my needs. This mattress was opened and used the same day and we did not smell anything. I slept in it to look after my baby’s overnight and felt energetic to next morning. Both my son and myself slept really well. I usually hate the too soft mattress and prefer memory foam. this one is both soft and supportive. I am very happy with the purchase. The only complaint is that it only comes in green color. I prefer a neutral color and I hope they will make it later.

It definitely has springs in it - you can feel them all around the sides of the mattress when you go to sit on it. It is 12”, almost immediately after unwrapping, probably because it’s mostly springs with 1-2” of memory foam on top of them. I am returning it. Funny thing, Amazon wanted me to box it up to return it. Umm, there’s no way I can decompress it to fit back in that box, nor do I have one big enough to hold a mattress! They eventually arranged a pick up service for it.

The media could not be loaded. I will update this review after one month of use. packaging was super heavy but once opened it expanded quickly. I am going to use the seller’s recommendation and wait the full 72 hours before sleeping on it but I did sneak a little test lay and I have to say for the price of this mattress I am pleasantly surprised. Even though it’s not fully expanded it seems like it’s going to be really comfy! I can’t speak to the longevity of the mattress yet but I’ll update. The only thing right off the bat I noticed was the lack of edge support, basically there is none but overall for the price you can’t beat it! The material is soft, and there was no oder upon opening. For now ill give a 3 star until I know how it feels to sleep on it. Update: just about 2 weeks into sleeping on this mattress. So far I’ve noticed that although the edges did firm up just a bit they are still not supportive and you absolutely will slide right off the side. It is not plush in my personal opinion and a little more firm than I expected but hopefully with time and the addition of a pillow topper it will soften. This bed sleeps really hot, but it’s not a big deal to me as I keep my room chilly but if your a hot sleeper this might not be for you. Overall I do think that so far this was a good choice for the price (it was 389 on sale when bought). For the most part it’s actually pretty good quality. I won’t say it’s the most amazing bed I’ve slept on but also definitely not the worst. Update: I think this will be my final review update. Unfortunately the bed is not the best. I really wanted to love it but after a few more weeks it honestly seems like it’s become even more firm. I added a topper which does help a bit however not much. If you like a firm mattress this will work for you! If you prefer a softer plush feel skip this product. I will say that along with the mattress firming up, so have the edges so the support is a little better but still nothing to write home about.
