The packaging and setup was easy and we followed the directions with no problem. Once the mattress was released and started to expand it reached the full 12 inches within a few hours BUT the edges still had quite a bit of firming up to do and this took a few days. I slept on it the second day and there was no smell whatsoever which was great given some of the reviews that I read. The edges were a little soft and I caught myself almost falling off of the bed a few times but as if four days into sleeping on it it has improved greatly. I am sleeping pretty good and even if I have to get up during the night I am able to fall back asleep fairly easily so that alone is a HUGE plus! Overall this is a great value and I will be getting a queen size for our guest room soon!
