The mat was easy to manage and spread out to allow it to flatten. The grass effect is realistic blend of lawn coloring, reminiscent of zoysia, rather than the rougher texture, same-color fake-green I've been used to.

It's decent enough. I only needed it as my doggy potty place so I'm not too concerned about the appearance of it. The grass was laying completely flat right out the packaging so you gotta take some time kinda combing through and getting them to stand a bit like real grass. It did rip in the middle. Easy to cut and spray or brush clean. Hasn’t faded from the sun. It does hold dog pee smell because every day there are bees in the 1 area my dogs pees on it. I clean it daily with a cleaner but it still holds the urine smell. Over all it serves the purpose.
