I love it. It fits right good with the twin top mattress. I had no problems and I got a bad back.

  • Edge of bed soft and unsupported
Size: Queen Style: 12 Inch
Amazed at how easy these mattresses pop up once constricting plastic is removed. Convenient and Fast. Less impressive is the complete lack of rigidity and support of the edges. Sitting on the edge is impossible. Attempting to get out of the bed means at least 6-8” of the edge Collapses and can roll you out unexpectedly, esp the first time. Almost fell out onto table. While these mattresses have a return or trial offers, can’t see ANY way one could repackage this for shipping. Cheap at $200 but would not work for a more expensive purchase. Rest of mattress is a bit soft. ... show more

  • Excellent budget mattress! An extensive review-
Size: Queen Style: 12 Inch
I want to start by saying that my jaw is on the floor with the price of this mattress! I don't think you can find something like this- anywhere- at this price! This is an excellent option when you need a mattress in a pinch, when funds are low, when you don't want to spend a bundle on the guest bed (face it, guests don't want to sleep on your old, beat up mattress either!), AND...this is a stellar mattress overall! It is just an awesome bed! My mind is literally blown! Right now, this is $250 with a $50 coupon. Getting this for $250 is a steal but $200 surely must be a mistake! YOU CANT BEAT THE PRICE! I picked this up for my 13yo daughter. She had been sleeping on a hybrid twin and seriously outgrew it. She is athletic (needs/likes a lot of support for her often sore body), and has taken a shine to my $5,000, handmade hybrid mattress from a big furniture store (I'll NEVER make that mistake again and spend that kind of $). We got a platform bedframe and moved this into the room. The box is definitely heavy. Weighing close to 75lbs, moving it is easier with 2 people. The mattress comes in a vaccum sealed bag, then rolled in a tight burrito, held in place with a plastic sheet. Once you cut open the mattress bag, this immediately starts coming to life. You can audibly hear the mattress sucking in air. I'm sensitive to smells and didn't notice a single scent or odor. Desperate to sleep on her new bed that night, we only let this "breathe" for around 12 hours before getting it made and sleeping in it. That was more than enough in my opinion. The bed is constructed very well. The top is quite plush and very soft. It seems somewhat cool to the touch, but we covered it with a protector so I can't tell you how it feels to sleep directly on. The seams around the edges are rolled tight, thick and clean. The bottom (you don't flip this one) is a thick, studry and durable material that seems to be great quality. We got it stuck (without knowing) on the bed frame moving it into place and it didn't rip. Great quality overall for sure! Now, I was suprised at how easy it was to make this bed. I love a good hospital corner, so I pay attention to the edges. With the weight of the mattress I thought they would be heavy to lift, but they weren't at all. It was very easy. I have more on this later. My standard queen cotton sheets (not deep pockets) fit this perfect and cover the sides of the mattress completely. I have to disagree that this is medium-firm. I know (and prefer) a firm mattress and this isn't one. If I had to line up beds to show people what they each felt like, this would be a golden example of a MEDIUM mattress. It just doesn't reach that firm threshold. I am 126lbs/5'7", My daughter is 145lbs/5'9" and my partner is 250lbs/6'6". We have all slept in on this mattress (the adults partially because we were curious how a $250 mattress slept and partially for review purposes). We all agree that when we get in this bed, it cradles us slightly. There is a nice softness that shapes around the body. We all sink in, ever so slightly, but none of us would really call this "soft". We all agree that this does have excellent support and definitely cradles the body and gives where it needs to, but pushes back too. As a back sleeper, I like that my arch in my low back is fully supported. My butt doesn't sink in, so I avoid sublimation of my spine. My partner, the side sleeper, likes the support but give around the shoulders and hips. My daughter, who moves all night long, hasn't woken up as sore as she used to. She specifically says that she feels "comfortable all night long and doesn't wake up when changing positions anymore". I would say that's a good thing. I'm pleased that this mattress is pretty much silent. Sure, you hear the crunch of the duvet and rustling of blankets when you move, but not a single noise from the mattress itself. We chose a "cooling" cover for this bed as my daughter is always hot. I don't think those really do much though (with any mattress). I know that memory foam usually sleeps hot, trapping the heat and kicking it right back at you. This mattress isn't like that- at all. I'm not sure if it has to do with the gel layers, but this doesn't really trap heat or sleep hot. It can get a little warm, but nothing that's uncomfortable. Back to those corners- I noticed that there is a slight lack of structure around the top perimeter of the bed. I believe this is just because it is made with layers of foam. If you take a small block of foam in your hand and push down in the middle (where it is strongest), you will get resistance. But if you push down on the edge, you can easily compact the foam down and cause a slope in the block. This mattress is exactly like that block of foam. The supportive coils are on the very bottom, and there isn't much to support the edges of the foam. So they move easy. If you are sitting on the edge of this mattress, there isn't much support. It does bend foward. This isn't necessarily a bad thing and doesn't effect sleep, but it is worth a mention. If you like to sit at the edge of the bed a lot, you will put undue stress on the outer binding of this bed, causing it to break down quickly. Overall, 3 very different body types with 3 different sleep styles all really enjoy sleeping on this mattress. Before I told my SO the price, he put this at $1000. He didn't believe me when I told him the actual price. My daughter (the one that matters here) loves sleeping on her new mattress and isn't waking up sore or with the aches and pains from sports anymore. You just can't beat this mattress, I don't care what anyone really says. It is great quality, super comfortable and the price is...dreamy! I hope this helps! We all deserve a great night's sleep! ... show more

  • Very Comfy Mattress
Size: Queen Style: 12 Inch
This mattress is really comfy to lay or even sit on. This mattress came rolled up in a box and inflated fully after about 31 hours. The texture of the mattress is soft and feels very nice to lay on. There were some inconsistencies in the filling during the "air up" process, but those went away after a little bit of time. The innersprings help to minimize movement transfer throughout the mattress, which really helps if you have partner that wakes up in the night frequently. I didn't really find any issues with it after it finished "airing up". It matches the listing and doesn't have anything wrong with it. I would recommend this if you're wanting a semi-firm mattress. ... show more
