It seems firm when you lay on it but then you sink in just enough. Not too firm and not to soft. Exactly what I wanted. Expanded quickly and was able to sleep on it the first night. The mattress is comfortable but after about a month in with it, the edges still haven't fully risen. Its also a bit too soft for my liking but it is still comfortable. I wish the edges were a bit more firm and I feel less of the coils.

I love this mattress! Admittedly, I’ve literally never owned a new mattress. It’s been hand-me-downs my entire adult life. I just needed something to replace the worn out, sinking 10 year old mattress I had. I didn’t have ANY expectations and thought it would be decent enough for a couple years and I could always replace it later. But this mattress has been the best purchase I’ve made in a long time! I genuinely look forward to getting into bed now. It’s firm (which I didn’t even know was something I needed in a mattress) but enough cushion to support my old decrepit body. I wake up and immediately notice how comfortable I am. I am so impressed with this inexpensive mattress and I cannot recommend it enough!

was not 10 inches, i let it expand 3 days, never expanded to 10 inches, this is more between 6-8 inches, they should not lie about the product like that, on the firm side, but overall not bad. I have to get used to it, back pain everyday since sleeping in it, maybe to firm or not thick enough, which is why i ordered 10 inches but this is not 10 inches. was easy enough to set up
