I was concerned to see a dent in the boxing of this bed frame, but no worries. All components were well packed. Every part was neatly packaged on cardboard in plastic bubbles and extra components were included. The sturdy metal construction made alignment very easy. Bed slats fit neatly into slots on the side rails with rubber wedges to hold them in place. Instructions were very clear. The final product is sturdy, squared up, and will hold up to use thanks to the welded metal construction. Someone thought of every detail.

Very easy to assemble. Took about 2 hours to build and all tools were included. So far it feels sturdy. The lights and outlets are a great addition and I've enjoyed then so far. Would recommend this bedframe! It also looks very modern and sleek!

Overall we are very pleased with this bed frame. For the price that we paid, it is sturdy, easy to assemble, and a good style for our kids' rooms. We ordered two of these bed frames - one for my son's room and one for my daughter's. I would give it 5 stars, BUT after assembling the second bed, we discovered that, even though the beds are in different rooms, the remotes for the light controls are on the same frequency. What this means is that when my son hits a button on the remote in his room, it changes the lights on my daughter's bed in her room. Even with the bedroom doors closed, pushing buttons on one remote controls the lights on both of the beds. We will see what kind of drama this causes between the two kids or if we can come up with a solution.

PROS: ● Quick and easy to assemble ● Light looks and functions great ● Laminate on the "wood" part is great; my daughter sits her drink, that condensates, on the headboard and the laminate doesn't bubble up when it gets wet, you can just wipe the water right off. ● Laminate makes cleaning easy because moisture doesn't affect it. ● Base is high enough off the ground to allow for storage totes to be slid under the bed. Provides great extra storage! ● Daughter loves the convenient charging port location so she doesn't have to fish for her charging cord that always used to fall behind the bed. ● Nook is great for daughter's books, remotes, stuffed animals, etc. ● Very sturdy frame CONS: Needs more bed slats for support; we spaced them appropriately, but there's too large of a gap between slats. If you sit on the end of the mattress, you'll think you're gonna fall through for a sec. LoL! Easy fix cutting some extra slats from spare wood we had in our workshop. Overall great bed for the value; the "wood" does look really fake, but it's exactly as pictured. Considering buying a king size for myself and painting the "wood" part the color I want.

I put this together by myself (as a woman) and it was easy enough. It comes with a ratcheting Alan wrench which was very nice. My only non positive comment would be that depending on mattress thickness, the mattress may leave a sizeable gap between bed and headboard, which pillows can fall through. I purchased a 8in minus mattress and it left a pretty big gap. You can't see it once the bed is made, but its a slight inconvenience.

This bed is actually really sturdy. Now let me say it took a few hours to put together but only because the directions doesn’t show where things should line up, so there was a lot of putting together and then taking it back apart to fix it. The assembly part really wasn’t difficult just time consuming. The lights work perfectly and are enjoyable. You can brighten them or dim them if needed. If you don’t want the lights you don’t even have to install them you can just skip the step. The outlet works perfectly and is very convenient. The bed frame once put together doesn’t slide or move around and it’s very quiet. It doesn’t squeak when you move, turn, or get up. Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase and definitely recommend.

We are very happy with this and impressed with how easily it went together and the sturdiness. We wanted something that gave us a little storage (for phone charger and such) but did NOT take up much more space than just the mattress. Total success on that! We have a small bedroom, and wanted a little storage so we didn't need night-stands. This is barely larger than the mattress itself, yet has very handy storage. It also has good support for pillows so can sit up in bed.
