Easy to put assemble. I did it alone within a hour and was moving slow no rushing. The lights are bright and functional. Very light weight but great metal quality in the frame and the slates to hold the mattress. each slate has a groove that they secure into. all parts were present with extras in case of need. the size is exactly a twin and provides amble storage under the bed as well as the shelf above the bed that has the outlets and lights. the material is as pictured. Metal frame with pressed wood accents.
