I think I have small ear canals. Mushing and rolling them up small enough to insert was a challenge but I was able to wedge them against the ridges of my outer ear and as they expanded they worked better than expected. Not as soft as expected. Have a sample of softer earplug, same brand, reference, color, packaging and wished to find same product, didn't happened. Disappointing to me it was all the purpose of my order.
