The Convection Blower also known as the Distribution Blower pulls cool air from the room and pushes that air over the firebox that holds the fire. Then the warmed room air is then pushed back out into the room were the stove or fireplace is installed. This part is responsible for two important functions: 1) to bring heat into the room, and 2) to keep the stove from overheating.

    • Exact fit for Quadra-Fire Santa Fe insert.
Good part, fit the Santa Fe insert directly. These are somewhat tricky to install but it's possible to do so without pulling the stove out. Remove the side panels and you can slide it in and out the left side. Nice and quiet.

Blowers were easy to install and work well but they are noisier than the original ones. Only been in use 6-8 times and they seem unusually noisy.

Delivery was super fast and installation about average. It takes a little time because the rubber stabilizing feet kept falling off. No issues with connectors and it fired right up . Is as quiet as the original that lasted me from 2006-2017. My last one literally lasted from 2017 to 2018 before bearing started making noise. Hope this one last as long as original. ... show more

Less than 2 months after replacing my 8 year old convection motor in my QuadraFire Classic Bay 1200 insert, the new motor makes as much noise as my old one. Warranty for one year. Pellethead will not replace motor without first removing it from my stove, sending it back to them so they can test it, and then returning one to me. This stove is my source of heat. Can not go without heat for the weeks it would take them. It is January in Pennsylvania. Requested them to send a replacement so I only have to pull my stove out once (Insert remind you) and can have stove up and running, and will then send them the defective part. Going around and around with Pellethead and Amazon as the motor gets worse. Pellet head needs to use a little bit of COMMON SENSE in this situation. ... show more
