This peel works wonders for sloughing the old skin and revealing a fresh and youthful glow! If you are not used to chemical peels this may burn/tingle quite a bit for you so you’ll want to start off carefully and let it process the minimal time (1 min)..as for me, I have been doing peels on my face for years so I started with the 3 min then used the neutralizer and washed thoroughly with cool water. I use this product typically one a week occasionally I’ll go twice a week if I’m feeling a ton of build up.     • Waste of Money - Does Nothing!

I bought this brand's 30% Glycolic Acid / 20% Lactic Acid peel so I also bought this neutralizer to go with it. Just as their glycolic acid/lactic acid peel was totally useless and did absolutely nothing for my skin, this neutralizer was useless, as well. When I sprayed it on my face, to neutralize the peel, it had no effect and did absolutely nothing, except for make the glycolic/lactic acid runny and drip down into my eyes, which caused my eyes to burn! It didn't soothe my skin at all, and I don't think it had any kind of neutralizing effect whatsoever! I researched and found out that all you need to do to neutralize a chemical peel is to use water and actually the water felt much more soothing than this product, which was a total waste of money! I will NOT but this project again and I doubt I'll buy anymore products from this brand again. ... show more

After much research, I decided to try an at home Glycolic peel. I am mixed (black/white) and sustained sun damage after a couple of equatorial trips, even with tons of sunscreen. I mention it because finding treatment for hyperpigmentation has been extremely difficult - my skin is light naturally but tans easily, so what works for fair skin/dark skin does not work for me. While I’m not trained in esthetics, I also don’t believe in paying hundreds of dollars for something I can effectively do myself: Anyway, after many esthetician consultations, I decided to proceed with a peel on my own. That’s where the neutralizer came in. It worked fast and well, and I cannot imagine anyone doing an acid peel without a neutralizer.
