I've only installed 6 of the 12 that came, but every LED element in those 6 bulbs work. They are maybe 3-4x as bright as the T10 incandescents my van came with. It's going to feel a little embarrassing to be lit up so well when the door opens. The color is colder than incandescents, so the stated 3000K is probably close to accurate. They are still warm feeling, but more like bright halogens (often 3200K). I don't see any green or purple tint/edging that some people talk about in other "warm" LEDs. I'll be sure to come back here and update this if some of them burn out within two years. ... show more

    • Perfect replacement for RV incandescent bulbs

I chose these because of the smaller footprint (vs. other choices on Amazon). These fit perfectly in my RV's exterior light compartments - the larger ones (i.e. other choices on Amazon that look like ping-pong paddles) would not have fit. They seem plenty bright enough. Time will tell if they last as long (or hopefully longer) than the incandescent bulbs they replaced. I got these in the hopes that LED lighting will use less electricity vs. incandescent - I usually camp in places where there are no electrical hookups so am running lights on my RV's battery - every electron saved is appreciated. ... show more

The brightness level is perfect Throughout and we have great warm light. About 3500k. We have a slide out with a light fixture above the table which is a little too close and bright for us. Fortunately these lights also work if you install them upside-down to reduce the brightness a bit. We should have purchased these a long time ago. While these give a nice bright warm white light, I did have issues with them making good electrical contact with the pins in the fixtures. This was solved by carefully sweating a bit of solder on the gold terminals. In measurements, the PC board plus plating was a bit too thin. Adding the flow of solder resolved the issue. ... show more

Bought these for a range hood replacement bulb since they are listed as RV compatible. While it did work and was of adequate brightness, it was way to hot! The socket started heating up and got hot as well to the point it was unsafe. The range hood bulb is listed to not exceed 5 watts, these are listed at 2.4 watts. Super easy to install and a significant reduction in power usage in the travel trailer while providing more light than factory bulbs. The light is a tad harsher than the old-school incandescent bulbs but it's not anything that would keep us from continuing to use these. Recommended
