This has been a successful transition from a Metal Colander to a Collapsible one with a wide range of functionality that saves space in the closet. It's very easy to clean as a result of the product being collapsible, thrown in the dishwasher for good measure then stored for use all over again. The Developers were very generous with this product and the wide range of use. Drainage is good, you save time with this product from how easy it is to clean and also less messy than cleaning a large Metal Colander, and the ease of use allows you to have fun with your food. I have a large porcelain kitchen sink where the telescoping arms do rest on the edges but there's too much of a chance for slipping. I just wish the underside of the telescoping arms were heavily non-slip (versus slightly non-slip) so I don't have to hold the colander with one hand to keep it against the front of my sink while trying to figure out how hold\tip over my larger pots into it (when doing spaghetti). Otherwise, it's a well crafted colander for normal use and with smaller pots\dishes (like Mac & Cheese). Better non-slip would have gotten the 5th star from me.

I’ve been using the Qimh Collapsible Colander for a while now, and it’s a great replacement for one I had for about 10 years before it finally broke. The sound quality is solid with a smooth rinse and efficient drainage, perfect for washing veggies or straining pasta. My kids love how easy it is to set up over the sink, and I appreciate the sturdy design that holds up even with heavy use. The extendable handles make it fit my sink perfectly, and the collapsible feature saves so much space in my kitchen drawers. UPDATE: Last week, the strainer ended up in 2 pieces. Even this many months later, I contacted the seller & with my pictures, they gave me a full refund. I see others have had the same issue but customer service was excellent. I’ll bump it up another Star but the product still needs improvement if so many people have the same problem. I bought this in March 2025 and it’s now nine months later. I bought it because of the great reviews and I had previously owned a bunch of silicone strainers that I loved and lasted me at least a decade. This one already has splits in each corner and pasta falls right out. It did work well up until about a month ago so had I reviewed this right when I bought it, I probably would’ve given it five stars. It actually started splitting months ago, but since nothing was falling out, it wasn’t a problem. Now I am shopping for something more sturdy. It’s too bad because it’s collapsible so it fits in a small area very well and I got the large size because I always make 2 pounds of pasta at a time.
