I bought this for my 3 year old step-son, and he absolutely loved it!! We couldn't get him off of it!! After playing for a few minutes, a rather important part broke (it was a bolt). It was easily replaced with a part my boyfriend had in his truck. I emailed Qaba the next day, explained what had happened and sent pictures of the broken part. It took a few days (as they're pretty busy), but I was told they couldn't replace the bolt due to low inventory. However, they automatically offered me a (generous) partial refund. I agreed that it was an acceptable option and I had the refund within a few days. Can't say I've ever had such great customer service!! Otherwise the excavator is very sturdy & easy to put together!! 5 stars!!

My 16 month old grandbaby LOVES this toy. He unfortunately has figured out how to continuously take one of the wheels off exposing smaller pieces. The music is a little "different 😬" but again the baby loves it.

Very sturdy and well made toy. My 5 year old son loves it because he can be be hands on and really do the digging himself. It also is not high tech so won't break like other toys do. It is larger in size and I disagree with age recommendation. I can't picture a 2 year old being able to easily operate this.

My grandson loved this but the plastic bolts that was used to hold some of it together kept coming off and eventually broke. We only had it for 24 hrs or less. Not great for a child under 3 . Afraid he may have eventually picked it up & try to swallow it

Easy to put together really cute - thought the sounds would be like truck noises but in fact one is the angry birds theme song and another is a song that I cannot place. Lights up and was pretty cool. But stopped working like the stop button is stuck and the other buttons will not work now. This within the 10 minutes of putting it together and putting batteries in it. As for durability of the actual toy I cannot say.

This is exactly what my son wanted: a construction vehicle he can ride around the yard. It is exactly what I wanted: a construction vehicle he can ride around the yard that doesn't cost four hundred dollars! Though eighty isn't cheap, it is one of the best deals out there for this kind of toy. That being said, I was disappointed with how quickly this fell apart. There is a tiny wire that operates the grabber - that snapped on day one. None of the plastic bolts stay on. the little red caps that hold one the wheels are not even screwed on, but are just plastic pieces pushed onto the wheel axles...so of course they fall off, get lost in the grass, and then the wheels can't stay on. If you've got some money you want to burn through for a super fun morning of construction play - get this. If you'd like to save a little more and buy something that lasts for a couple of days, pass this up.

In order to change attachments, there is a metal nut/bolt that has to be unscrewed. My worry is that the nut/bolt could become loose and a child could choke or swallow. Looking at the photos of the toy, you can see it if you zoom in (something I did not noticed when I ordered on my phone). Return shipping is at buyers expense and costs almost as much as the toy itself. The seat is also wider than most ride-ons that size. The child I bought if for could not touch the ground but could with the replacement toy meant for the same age.
