Nice product overall. Pros- *much more quite than having to hammer at 2am in the morning =P *With the drill attachment you can you hole punches, and even add your stitching punches in there ( I would get a cheap round set) *with the press it comes with you can stamp initials and names or logos so much easier *Over all its so much more quite, the punches and leather stitching punches do their job with ease and make very clean and very consistent punches. The neg! Honestly there is nothing wrong with the press its just quality of life issues here lol. So if you want to raise and lower you have to use the Allen wrench and loosen the bolts to raise and lower which maybe thumb screws would be better?? IDk maybe not. I wish the plat form for laying ur leather on for stamping was just a tad bigger but its ok. Once you figure out what height you need for punching etc I would recommend adding a line with a marker or tape or something cause it really sucks putting it to a certain place then if being to high or to low and having to unscrew the bolts again and adjust and do it again.

This unit is great because it allows you to swing the plate away and then swing it back once your clicker die and leather is ready to cut or make impressions. Lower the plate down to just the top of what you are pressing. Pull the main lever and press down firmly. Move larger clicker dies around to make cuts. You might have re-press until it cuts through leather. I have not use the included chuck for punching leather yet.

Cheap screws. After the 3rd use I had to go to the hardware store and replace the screws. Everything else is working fine.

I ordered this leather press because I needed a smaller one for my Clicker. It was easy to use and the build quality was decent, though there were a few pieces that had rusted. Functionality wise it worked great for what I needed.

I'm always looking for new hobbies and one that I specifically was interested in was using a leather press to use in conjunction with my laser engraver/cutter. After doing some research, I found this leather press made by HONGYMA. From the description this looked like an ideal beginners set and so I decided to give this a try out. Now that I've gotten this home, read all the details of how to operate this leather press- I can attest that this is a superior leather press. Below, I will share some of the features of this press that led me to choose this over other similar ones on the market. *Design: Well designed- Multi-Function- 2 Modes- No installation - Premium Grade Materials *Functionality: works as intended. Clear and simple instructions makes this set up super easy. Adjust the height to your preference *Punch and cut materials such as: fabric leather, foamed PVC/EVA,Stickers, Plastic, Rubber Sheet *Material: Ductile iron which is a very strong metal more so than cast iron *Dimensions for your reference: 18.35 x 11.46 x 9.29 inches with a weight of 16.36 All in all, I find that this leather press was designed with excellent expertise. The unit works as it should. I used this to make some leather strips and I'm super impressed with how easy this is to use. The materials seem premium grade, so longevity should be good.
