This air vacuum pump is a great partner for automotive, air conditioners, resin degassing, and more. Why does the pump emit white smoke or oil mist during operation? High CFM pumps naturally create oil mist (oil whip). To minimize this, strictly follow duty cycles (avoid continuous 24/7 running) and switch to premium performance vacuum oil. Always operate in a well-ventilated area. How deep of a vacuum can it pull? Why do some analog gauges stop at -14.5? It pulls a deep absolute vacuum of 0.2 Pa (approx 15 microns). If your analog gauge stops at -14.5 PSI or -30 inHg, that simply means it reached maximum atmospheric relative pressure. Use a digital micron gauge for true depth. Can I run this 14.4 CFM pump continuously for 20+ hours? No, this heavy-duty pump is designed for fast, efficient evacuations, not continuous 24/7 running. To prevent overheating and excessive oil misting, follow a proper duty cycle and allow the motor to cool down between jobs.
