2 stage is such an upgrade! I jumped from an old 4 cfm single stage to this bad boy. I love it. It pulls moisture out of the system very well and fast. I even tried it on my vacuum chamber for resin and it did a fantastic job pulling out the bubbles and left plenty of time to pour.

I have a more advanced vacuum pump that I use to do things like leak testing (it graphs and monitors the pressure), but I don't always need a bunch of fancy schmancy features like what it has. Sometimes, when I'm just pulling a vacuum (say, degassing some epoxy resin for a pour) this is all I want. I love that it actually comes with some vacuum pump oil (so many don't). Had no problem pulling a good vacuum on my chamber. 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. box package sent was dropped on the fan side one screw broken one bracket broken fan guard. Unit only pulls to a -14.5 needs to be a -30 does not pass the mustard only ran it for five minutes. Yes, it has oil. Not for HVAC/R going back.
