This complemented the style of light fixtures I wanted in my home. I opted for a professional install, and unfortunately, we ran into a snag when one of the metal tread rods that secure the hanging chain portion of the fixture to the ceiling house was missing. The electricians made due and found a part from an extra fixture they had from an earlier job - a rouge coaxial cable part. As a result, it was tough to level the lights because the piece wasn't made for this fixture, and it's still sitting slightly higher on one end of the fixture by a few degrees. The lights don't shine as bright as I expected, yet I believe that may have to do with the wattage of the lights - maybe - that's TBD. Otherwise, it's a pretty, minimalist piece with open bulbs that makes for easier cleaning. ... show more
