    • For its size, its great
All things being equal, this isn't a 5 star sub, its maybe a 3 or 3.5. Its size makes it a 5. There are other small subs that hit harder, but they are 2x the price or more (kef for instance). This sub also doesn't get super deep, its not going to have the impact or rumble of a 12" plus sub. That said, when it sits in its happy zone (I can't tell you exactly, but probably around 50-60hz) it really shines. For a living room where you don't want any visible speakers or small spaces, this is a very good addition to your setup. If size is not an issue, and you really want good bass, you can get a much better 10" or 12" sub for the same price. Only downside I've found is that if you turn the gain up close to 75% or more, I start getting pops, but I'm not sure if that is the electronics on this sub to blame, or my receiver signal. ... show more

I've been a long time fan of Q Accoustics and have owned a pair of 3020 bookshelf speakers for apartment living in NYC. As I've started going down the rabbit hole of my audio experience I realized the mids and lows weren't where I wanted them to be. I am totally digging my set up now and the slim size and deep mids and lows from the 3060 is incredible and pairs wonderfully with the 3020s. ... show more

I love the slim design of this sub and it pairs perfectly with the Q3020i bookshelf speakers. The English Walnut finish has a nice retro-vibe that makes it feel more like furniture and the build quality seems excellent. Highly recommended!
