I use these primarily for heating food in my HotLogic Mini. They fit nicely in the Mini. The lids let me move the dishes around without worrying about sloshing. Even though these dishes are inexpensive, they look and feel like top quality.

I've been a Pyrex gal for years, and these glass containers don't disappoint! They're thick, sturdy glass and the lids have (amazingly) not cracked at all, even though I put them in the top rack of the dishwasher routinely. I'm sure I'll buy more of these at some point - the 2-cup size is great for things like parfaits, meal prepping ingredients, storing leftovers of things like soup, and stuff like that. Love these, use them everyday, glass portion is extremely study and scratch resistant, I've even accidentally dropped them a few times and they were ok, but the lids are cheaper and will eventually split/crack/wear out so you need to replace them periodically (I replace mine like ever 2 years or so) but the glass seems to last forever. ... show more

This is a handy little storage container and with the lid on it stacks nicely in a cupboard or drawer. I hand-wash all of my plastic lids because it takes only seconds and they last longer that way. The lid on this is such a simple design it takes no time at all to wash it. The glass bowl has no chemicals to leech and it can be put in the microwave and the dishwasher. I have washed this one countless times in the dishwasher and it still looks new. It’s also quick and easy to hand-wash. I have only one of the one-cup size because I do not need it as often, but it is handy to have for small amounts of leftover sauces and chopped or minced peppers or herbs. I have several of the two-cup size because they are especially useful for all kinds of things, like small amounts of leftovers, batches of sauces, onions, chopped veggies, and keeping cheeses fresh in the fridge. I'm going to be fair. My use for this product is way off lable. I use it to acclimate pet shrimp to their new tank. That said, using a dish like this is a common way to do that, so in case that's what you're buying it for, its quality depends on the size bag you get your shrimp in. This dish is really small. For the large bags it's a little hard. Figure the size you get from most local fish stores. There is more water than the dish can handle and it's possible to have a shrimp go right over the edge if you just pour it over the sink or something so that's not an option. My workaround is to use a straight pin to pop a hole in the bag and let some of the water out that way until it's low enough to pour into this. If you're using the small bags, say what some but not all online fish vendors use for shrimp, then this is exactly what you need. The larger ones won't work because the water level will be too low for the shrimp. This is ideal for that. If it's mixed, sometimes buy one way and sometimes the other, then I'd stick with this. It's easier to drain some than to work around there being too little if you can't just randomly add more. That is the point of acclimation after all. For food, this would be the size I'd use to take lunch to work if that helps. For the quality of the dish itself, obviously I haven't tried putting it in the microwave, but I did lid it with water in it and some moss balls (thankfully no animals) and it took a header off a table thanks to a curious cat. It landed on carpeting. It didn't break. The lid did not come off. It did not leak. I like how sturdy it is and how securely the lid stays on. ... show more
