I am a woman who is blind. I use a screen reader, which is a little piece of software on my computer, that reads the screen to me, to navigate the internet. I dislike purchasing things online because I cannot physically see them myself. I can't touch them, hold them, try them on or get a feel for how they work. And returning things for me, is a pain. Despite my hesitation regarding this, I went ahead and ordered the robe because it sounded amazing! I looked at many of the reviews prior to purchasing and looked at the size chart. I'm 5 feet 7 inches and weigh approximately 160 pounds. I purchased the purple with faux fur trim. I adore the robe itself! I love the texture of the fleece, so beautiful and soft! I love the fur. I love the hood and wrapping myself in this when I become too cold at night or in the mornings. I love the length; it goes down to my ankles. I adore the pockets, which are plenty big enough for my Sony phone. I tend to run cold and this robe is incredibly warm, which I love. However, the size chart seemed to indicate that for someone with a 34 to 36-inch waist, such as myself, I needed to purchase a large. I did. I usually fit into a medium in regular clothes sizes, so was surprised when the size chart seemed to indicate that I needed to purchase a large. This robe is so big that I can almost wrap it around myself twice, and use it as a blanket, in addition to tying it closed with the belt and inside ties. This is not exactly what I was looking for. I don't want the robe to be too snug, however it is so big that I feel like I am lost in it. I love the belt itself and the inside ties do keep it closed, which is great! I have never had a robe with an inside tie in addition to the belt before and it is amazing! It even has a hook to hang the robe on a door, which is wonderful! I would love to exchange this for a medium. However, I logged in today and apparently, I am just one day past my return date. Oh well, I will donate this to a charity shop and purchase a medium. If you decide to purchase this and you love soft cozy things, you will not be disappointed! 😊 Thank you for reading, Natalia

This is my favorite thing right now! Very, very soft. The fur is even soft. I can’t wait to come home and put it on! I am 5’4 185 lbs and I got a size L and it is nice and long which is what I wanted. Very generous size so have lots of extra room. I love the hood which is nice on cold nights. You won’t regret buying this wonderful robe!

This product is SO WORTH THE PRICE!!! I would most definitely recommend it to anyone. It's fancy, yet very durable and warm. Very soft and my grandbaby loves feeling and cuddling on it.

I've been on the hunt for a thick, warm, long robe with a hood. This is the 3rd one I tried. I am giving this robe a glowing review, despite my returning it (due to my own pickiness), because it is truly exceptional. I read through the reviews and expected a nice robe. Upon receiving it exceeded any expectation I had. This is a robe with substantial weight and thickness. Much thicker than any robe I've ever owned or the other 2 I recently tried. It is extremely warm. High quality fabric and construction. I am 5'6, 130 lbs. I ordered the small and it fits perfectly (with a little extra room to wear other clothes under it). It falls just below mid-calf, so it is quite long. The sleeves and cuffs are fitted not baggy, which I like. When you put this robe on you feel like a queen, it is soooo luxurious. It would make an excellent gift for someone. The only, and I stress only, reason I returned this is because the cuffs are pretty thick and the faux fur, which is pretty long and thick, makes them even more-so. I wear my robe truly as a "house coat" and pretty much live in it when I'm home, so for me the fur on the cuffs is not practical as I can see it would get in the way of things I do and get dirty and grubby looking. I'm going to stick with this brand and order a similar robe without the fur. ****UPDATE**** I ordered the sherpa lined robe but it wasn't as thick. I contacted Alexander Del Rosso customer service for help and they were absolutely wonderful. They returned the sherpa one and re-sent the faux fur one to me (at no extra charge, even though the price had gone up). I am now snuggly warm and super-comfortable in my new robe. The cuffs aren't bothering me at all and the robe retained it's size and got even softer when I washed and dried it. LOVE LOVE LOVE
