This is a really cool laboratory beaker wine glass. I got it as a gift for my spouse, who has a science background, and she absolutely loved it. Unlike some novelty items that feel flimsy or cheap, this glass has a genuinely authentic labware look and feel. It has thick, durable glass, with clear and accurate-looking measurements and markings, and an overall shape that mirrors an actual beaker rather than just mimicking one. It was also packaged very securely and arrived in great shape, making it a great gift item right in the box. Be VERY careful while cleaning, even though we were hand-washing, the markings came off almost immediately. While the price might seem a bit high for a single glass, the quality (other than the markings) and uniqueness make it worth it. It’s functional, fun, and definitely a conversation starter. Highly recommended!

When I purchased this, it was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. As I had bought this as a gift for my science-minded significant other, and wrapped it up immediately. She thought it was funny and a good gift -- even with all the wine glasses we have in the house. This is now her go-to glass for wine and the shape of the glass makes it easier to clean than a traditional wine glass. It also makes it easier to figure out which glass is hers if we have some friends over.

If your friend is spending time in a lab and needs to unwind, then it's a good gift. ( Pretty safe in the lab, as the increments and shape should give it away). As durable as any other wine glass, and just as stable. As advertised, like it....Will get feedback after Christmas.
