This Pyle USA PFA 330 PT is used with the headphone output of laptop into the mp3 input on the amp and is sounds very good for the price. When I tried Bluetooth from the laptop, easy pairing and connection, but every song cuts in and out, and the sound quality is not as good as wired method. Note that the laptop and Pyle amp are ONE INCH from each other. I like it. If you have a set of speakers you want to use but don't want to buy a whole receiver system this is a great option. Small, fits anywhere, and much louder than my battery powered BT speaker. I have my existing Chromecast on the input and occasionally use the Bluetooth with my phone (need to toggle a button between modes). No hiss or static when on, even at full volume. Perfect for patio or pool side speakers (though you will want to protect the amplifier from the weather). My only complaint is a "thud" when powered on. Good bang for your buck! ... show more

It's small so easy to fit a lot of places. Super easy set up. The sound is amazing for something as small as this! I dug out my classic Bose 201s and it was like meeting up with an old friend.

This little amp is fantatic. It has resurrected a couple pairs of old speakers. It has enough power & good clarity for any home/wired speaks 4-8 Ohm. Sounds killer & using Bluetooth from phone & speakers from back in the day. Can't beat this little Blue gadget. Got the garage rocking!

After using it for about a week, I am enjoying the unit, and it pairs quickly in Bluetooth mode. The base plate doesn't have any holes for mounting but I figured out a way to use sticky mounting hooks to retain it on my wall. The female robot voice that announces "Connected!" or "Disconnected" sounds fuzzy and unclear, it should be better at this price point. I also notice that I can connect my device to it via Bluetooth even if the Bluetooth switch is turned off on the device, which has confused me a few times; it would be better if the switch turned off Bluetooth entirely. Still, those are nitpicks and I'm happy with the device so far. ... show more

    • Great little amp but...
I bought this after coming across it by chance. I am using it to power two M-Audio BX5a studio monitors as mentioned above in which the original internal amps had failed. I removed the internal amps and was powering them with a home theater receiver but I wanted something smaller and more compact. Plus I didn't need all the inputs of a receiver. I started looking for smaller options and a few days after I had given up and just decided to stick with the receiver. I came across this little guy. I can say it sounds great for the price/size and it's perfect for my needs. Plus, the fact that it has bluetooth is great. Especially since it links to bluetooth whether you're using the bluetooth input or not. I like that because if I need to play something from my phone. I just have to push the button to switch inputs and then I 'm good to go. No need to reconnect every time I switch inputs. The issue is the power supply included is GARBAGE. It says it's 12v/3amp. Which is absolutely not true at all. Because of the fact that it doesn't put out what it needs to. The amp cuts out all the time if the bass hits too hard or if the volume is too high. Which is extremely annoying. I measured the output with a digital multimeter and it's actually only putting out 10 volts and no where near 3 amps. Maybe around one at load. However, other than the cheap power supply it is a great little amp. I just used and old power supply I had from and older printer and it now works as it should. Which is 12volts at 5amps. But it is still irritating that the included PS couldn't handle that... And if I had been forced to purchase a new power supply. It would have probably come close to doubling the original price. ... show more
