    • Defective after a few months. Warranty repair did not work.

I was quite pleased with the sound at first. But after just a few months, the PA speaker became defective. The speaker would stop outputting sound (nothing from the mics) a few minutes after turning on the unit, and the a loud constant clicking noise starts to be emitted instead. On a side note, the bluetooth module of the unit I purchased never worked - no power. It's just that I didn't intend to use the bluetooth module so I chose to live with that. I contacted Pyle for warranty repair service and they asked me to ship back the entire unit (a 50lb heavy item, even though they did provide a label, but it was still a big hassle to package and ship it). I did so. A few days later, they sent back the "repaired" unit - the warranty info sheet says they replaced power board). But unfortunately the exact same issue developed soon after I started using the speaker again. So it was not repaired successfully. (the bluetooth also did not get repaired, even though I mentioned it during the warranty claim). At this point I'm really fed up by the system and asked Amazon for a possible return out of the standard return window. Thankfully Amazon did agree to take it back, minus a 20% restocking fee, which I accepted since it did work for a few months at least. ... show more

The Pyle Pro PPHP1599WU 15" Bluetooth 4.0 Loudspeaker System is a 2-way 1600W peak power portable loudspeaker system with dual wireless handheld microphones. It features a variety of input options, including Bluetooth 4.0 streaming audio, USB flash and SD card readers, and a built-in FM radio. Additionally, the unit has 1/4" inputs for wired microphones. I use this device connected via Bluetooth to provide amient background audio for our Halloween haunted house and graveyard! Took a while, to get it dialed in, but after getting the EQ and volume set, it's impressive. The mics are cheap, be they both worked right out of the box, no hum or feedback. There are many options when it comes to consumer grade non commercial bluetooth speakers. I can tell you I over researched the various options but it paid off. This speaker is an absolute beast and does everything as advertised. I used it for an outdoor party in Mexico and for some karaoke. All I can tell you is that this thing is way louder than most anyone will need with quite good sound quality (just as long as the music you were feeding into it is solid). The mics worked flawlessly even at distances of 50 ft or more. Keep in mind we were on the beach with a good breeze blowing and there was no problem hearing clearly. Purchased Sept, 18, 2023. It's now Oct 30, 2025 Used the speaker a handful of times. Always kept the battery topped off but now it won't hold a charge. Removed battery cover and found it bulging and ready to burst! Super dangerous! I have regularly felt it would be good to have a solid PA unit, and an upcoming meeting that now needs to be held outdoors due to COVID finally motivated me to purchase one. After quite a bit of looking, coupled with long acquaintance with the Pyle brand, the PHP1599WU (plus a matching stand) looked like my best fit. Shipping was delayed a couple days for some reason, but it arrived yesterday and I unboxed and tested it tonight. Everything worked out of the box, though it did take some exploring to figure out the built-in FM radio. One plus that I missed when looking at the catalog is that this unit includes an extensible handle and wheels, just like modern luggage. Hard to argue with that. The controls and remote work as expected and the sound is quite good from each of the sources. I am looking forward to using it in my upcoming meeting -- lets hope for nice weather.... ... show more

This unit worked great for about 9 months then it just decided to have a complete meltdown and stopped working. I contacted Pyle and they had me send it in. I waited for about two months and started contacting them about an eta. After about two more months I finally got a reply saying the unit was damaged beyond repair due to improper packing. I know this is false because it was shipped with light fiberboard covering all sides. Anyway, they now want me to pay $125 to get a replacement unit which I agreed to do. Another month has passed and still no response except that they will let me know when the repair center lets them know. I WILL NOT every purchase anything from Pyle again. This is just plain horrible customer service. Please think twice before purchasing anything that has the Pyle name on it. ... show more
