I bought this guitar used from Amazon Warehouse Deals and had to return it because the body was damaged during shipping. However, it was an excellent bang for your buck. Especially with getting a free gig bag, tuner, etc. Perfect for beginners that are just starting out and need an instrument that will stand up to some beginner abuse, i.e. overtightening a string while tuning as I did to my ukelele. It definitely looked like a good investment that will hold up long enough till you get the hang of it and then move on to a more attractive instrument. ... show more

I had bought a guitar for my grandson (10 yr old) for about $20 cheaper than this one on Amazon because it was a first guitar and I wasn't sure if he'd lose interest. My husband then bought me this one because he figured it would be an upgrade from the one I bought our Grandson, because this one was 30% more expensive. However ,this one didn't come with real guitar strings on it. It just had what looked close to fishing line tied to it.. I missed in the description that it had nylon strongs. So we put real guitar strings on it and I let my grandson have this one. I kept the cheaper one I bought because it was better quality. My fault for not reading better, but I expected more. I would have returned it but he waited so long for one of the guitars that I just went ahead and gave it to him.. Plus, I didn't want the hassle with a return. Hard to believe that another one,that was so much cheaper, had actual guitar strings already on it and this one did not. ... show more

Everything except the free 2 mos of lessons came with it. I'm sure they'll straighten it out. It's very nice seems perfect so far. Just need the lessons and instructions.

At first I hated these (bought two to teach my grandchildren how to play) because the strings were so way out of tune it took a while before the strings finally calmed down and stayed in tune... They can serve as travel guitars, or extras when someone comes over, and would like to play. Good starter kid guitar and campfire guitar, if you want to leave the good one at home, and not worry about it getting damaged, etc. ... show more
