Best putter ever!!!!! Very consistent!

Zero torque can't be that big of a difference, right? Wrong. It is night and day compared to the feel of a regular putter. When you pull back on a normal putter you can often feel it's slightly out of alignment and just correct it mid swing which frequently leads to pushes or pulls or just inconsistent distance since you're distracted trying to straighten the putter. With this zero torque, it takes out all the effort and thinking on alignment during the putting stroke. You line up the putt with the white line/white dot and the parallel edges of the bat "wings," then your arms just turn into a perfect pendulum as you pull it back. You only have to pay attention to your speed at that point. Even if you somehow manage to have an off-center toe or heel strike, you don't feel yourself fighting to keep the putter from twisting in your hands. That's likely due to the zero torque design and the large and square grip that gives a secure feeling in your hands. The face has a soft feel so it has a good touch for delicate putts with a lot of break or downhill but at the same time there's enough weight to be able to knock those long putts without feeling like you have to kill it. It is worth it? Well, how much did you spend on greens fees, irons, driver, lessons, range time, only to miss 5 footers? At that point what is the value to give you the confidence and ability to sink those putts and not just save the strokes but to keep you in the right presence of mind and keep playing well onto the next tee/saving even more strokes? I think that all makes it worth it the price. Great fit and finish too.

I’ve been a recreational golfer for almost 30 years typically scoring in the high 80’s to mid 90’s per round. In every sport, including golf, you have “pros” that are positive if you do certain things you will get much better. Likewise the equipment manufacturers will tell you that their latest innovation will do the same. In my experience, this is rarely true or at best, you might see a tiny improvement. So when I saw this club with its “zero torque” design, I was skeptical from the get go. Not anymore. I have used this putter for several rounds now and am truly astounded at the improvements in my game. Three putts became two and two puts are significantly closer to being one putts !. I wont pretend to understand exactly why this is so much more accurate than my Odyssey 2 ball that I have used for years. I assume its mostly that the zero torque design really takes the alignment and stroke errors out of my putts. The putter itself is a good weight for me but if you are a more accomplished golfer and feel differently, it does have an adjustable weight system you can use to make the putter heavier if that works for you. The grip is on the large side, but I like that and it’s comparable to the grip I recently had put on my Odyssey putter. As you should expect at this price point, the rest of the club has a great finish and looks and exudes quality on par with any other brand in this category. Even the head cover is nice and distinctive. It’s understandable that at this price point you might be reluctant to try the putter, but from my experience, the improvements in your game will be readily apparent. Your golf partners will take note when they continue to play while you are standing back, smugly watching them struggle with putts that you made look so effortless.!

I was super skeptical about this putter, especially at the price. My first thought was, “might as well just buy a Scotty, right?” With all the hype around zero-torque putters lately (thanks to LAB and JJ Spaun’s major win) I figured PXG just jumped in to cash in on the gimmick. My gamer has been the Cleveland Elevado 2135 (with a look somewhat similar), and before that, I gamed an Odyssey 7, which this putter closely resembles. So, I decided to give it a try. Build quality was solid, about what you’d expect from a premium putter. The thicker grip was a nice touch, though the overall aesthetic look wasn't really my style. At address, it looks a bit funky; the design forces a built-in forward press and the shaft sits over the middle of the putter. It’s also surprisingly light, which worried me for lag putting, though the weights are adjustable (I’ve since ordered heavier ones). So I skipped the practice green and took it straight to the course. To my surprise, every putt went exactly where I aimed. I’m wristy, so I putt left-hand low, and even when I felt a little handsy, the ball still tracked straight instead of pushing or pulling. Of course on the 4th hole I drained a 12-footer for birdie, and the rest of the round I was honestly blown away. Two days later, I played another 18 and had the same results. For me, it’s saving at least two strokes per round. The only downside is the light weight which makes lag putting difficult, but once I get the heavier weights in, I think that’ll be solved. And while I’d normally never pay this much for a putter unless it was a Scotty, this one is worth it. My buddies even noticed how much better I was rolling it and were instantly curious. I know what everyone's thinking, "But it's PXG?" I highly recommend you get over that because this is a complete GAME CHANGER. It's in the bag!!!

This is a well-built club. The grip is comfortable. The resting angle and offset feel natural and balanced. Does it make my putting more accurate. Mm, no, it doesn’t seem like it. So, is it worth $450? Only you can answer that.
