I like this case, and it provides pretty good protection for the phone. It looks decent, if a bit too "techy." All buttons and ports work and are easily accessible. The main issue I have is that it does not want to play nicely with my wireless charger. I have to remove the case to use the charger, which is not ideal. The kickstand is also a little on the flimsy side, being basically a flat metal loop. I don't think it would stand up to a lot of shearing force. The sliding lens cover is a good idea, although if you are an impulsive picture taker you might want to just leave it open, as you have to consciously open the lens cover every time you want to snap a photo. ... show more

This sturdy case for iPhone XS users from vendor Puxicu has several great features and perhaps one missing feature that would make this a true 5-star purchase. First, here is what to like: 1. While sturdy, the case is still pliable enough to slip firmly over the iPhone. 2. The backside features a sliding cover to protect the camera lens when not in use. 3. A metal kickstand can be pulled out of the back center to prop up the phone or to use as a finger guard. 4. The base metal plate of the kickstand can also be used with a magnetized car dashboard phone holder. 5. Both the front and back of the case feature raised ridges to protect the body of the phone. As shown in the photos, we inserted our test iPhone XS into the case and tested its buttons and sliding camera cover and the kickstand. Everything worked as intended. If you are not used to a lens cover and are prone to take spontaneous photos, you will either have to keep the cover open or get used to remembering to slide it open if it is in the shut position. The one protective feature we found lacking with this case is that it does not have side ribbing or nubs to serve as tactile grip pads for your fingers as they hold on to the case sides. While not a deal-breaker, adding such a feature would help the user to ensure a steadier grip of the phone. ... show more

I ordered this case for my iPhone to protect it from being dropped but also because of the slide cover for the camera lense. I really like being able to cover the lense when I’m not using the camera. This case has protected my phone from many drops. And it’s still sleek enough to easily slide in/out of my pocket, not bulky like many of the military grade cases. This case is actually my 2nd purchase of the same case being it is that good of a case. You really can't beat the price point of $9.99 at the time I caught this one. The case itself has a very comfortable nonslip feel and will 100% protect the front screen due to a 0.9mm raise lip and that's measured with a 9H tempered glass screen protector, so it's actually a tad of a bigger protective lip technically. The back of the case is where it really shines and why I get these cases in particular. I love the camera protection and this case is an upgraded version of the blue one I bought from the same company. The slide to cover the cameras is much easier to grab as well as much snugger and has better clearance to the camera system. I think the only improving that is needed is the stand, sure it works in landscape but for the size of it, it would be nice to make it for vertical use as well. I will also note they made the "stand" or back "ring" much more secure as well as in it snaps back to the back of the case very snug as well. All around, the quality is in the details and the little improvements are noticed. This is a solid case for the price, and I give it 4 stars. I like the style; very rugged looking without being too bulky. The loop/stand is functional as a finger hold as well as a stand vertically or horizontally without getting snagged slipping in and out of my pocket. The camera door is a neat idea though I'm not sure how much I like having to perform the extra operation of opening the door when taking photos. the buttons are very low profile and remain easy to operate.
