I like the idea of this little thing. But, unless you have the ideal rolling surface, it gets offline and wobbly pretty quick. I have a cheap putting mat that's kind of like tightly wound carpet.     • Hard to line up correctly
It does what it says. If you don't hit it square it gets squirrelly. The thing is you have to line up the ball perfectly then hit it perfectly. If the ball is a hair offline your putt will be offline also. I believe you'd be better off not putting to a target and just using it to make sure your putter face hits the ball squarely.     • Excellent training aid; Not an accurate feel
This is a great training aid for learning to roll the ball true, however the feel and speed of the putts is not like an actual golf ball. Hitting this ball requires a more forceful putt and as a result messes with your putting speed. I do recommend this product but that is something I wish I knew before hand since I started blowing way past the hole. ... show more

    • 100% Recommend for Every Golfer
I'm a really good putter (absolutely dreadful in every other aspect of golf, but putting, forget about it), but I'm always trying to work on things - getting a more pure roll, removing pulls/pushes, etc. This really helps identify whether you are closed or open at contact, as well as if you are swiping across but maybe squaring up at contact. It took me about 4 days to make the right adjustments to consistently produce a straight, end over end roll without sacrificing technique and doing something really goofy (because standing with my back to the target with a strange grip would always produce a good roll for some reason - though absolutely no feel for distance - that was a strange day). The ball itself is pretty firm and does not at all replicate feel for distance, but once you get your ballstrike square, you can translate back to hitting a normal ball and will start to see pure, end over end, rolls. 100% recommend to anyone trying to improve their putting game. ... show more

I recently purchased the PuttOUT Devil Ball Face Angle Trainer, hoping to improve my putting skills. Unfortunately, I found the product to be somewhat disappointing and not as effective as advertised. While the concept of the Devil Ball Face Angle Trainer seemed promising, I didn't notice significant improvements in my putting. The device is supposed to help correct face angle issues, but I found it challenging to see consistent results. Ultimately, I was disappointed with the PuttOUT Devil Ball Face Angle Trainer. I tried it a few times and didn't get the feedback I expected or that was promised. It's difficult for me to recommend this product to other golfers seeking to enhance their game.
