I have used a purple honey comb pillow and I do find this one a bit softer, it is a little low. I ordered medium hight and the single not the double zip pillow. I think I would have enjoyed the double a bit more. I will also be purchasing the honeycomb grid as well. But for the sale I got I am happy and honestly my neck and shoulder pain is gone. My biggest complaint is it is to to low but I ordered it that way. Most important part is I am not having anymore pain! Not as soft as feather down but dose seem to cradle a bit better. I have had many surgeries involving my neck. I thought this would be a great find. Sadly it is too thick for anyone that has had neck surgeries. There is no way to adjust it to make it thinner. It stinks because it could have been great because of the texture. But far too thick for people who have had neck surgeries. I even cam back to look for a thinner or less firm one. No such luck. So I basically wasted $60. It would be great if it were thinner or I could adjust. But can’t find a thinner and you can’t adjust it. So back to my 10 year old cheapo from target. When ordering this pillow I watched both videos that was on the product listing. The last video was headline “See what is inside the pillow before buying” it showed the purple honeycomb and they is why I ordered it. I had been to a relatives house that had that pillow and loved it. Ordered this one and it was not that pillow. After receiving this pillow I did more research and found out it is twice as expensive as this one. This one I’m keeping because it is comfortable, I like it and I can’t afford the other pillow. Its name is true to how it feels, like sleeping on a cloud. Purple please remove the second video it makes it confusing on what you are getting. ... show more

I followed wash dry instruction before use. The pillow does not have enough filling to support my side sleeper head/neck position. . It has to be fluffed during the night to support my head and neck because it goes flat.

I suffer from chronic pain and my sleep suffers as well, over the past three years I have tried hundreds of pillows. Most of the pillows I've tried were memory foam, some shredded and adjustable and solid foam, the problem with shredded is the foam clumps up over time, the solid foam don't have a lot of give and can feel hard especially when I'm in pain. I didn't think I would like a down alternative pillow because the one's I've tried my head sunk right down, but in the purple cloud pillow the fiber's are coated in silicon so when I lay on the purple cloud it supports my head but yet still feels soft. I am a combination sleeper and I am comfortable no matter what position I'm in on the purple cloud. I have actually had better night's sleep on the purple cloud pillow, and the best thing is it's a third the cost of a lot of pillows that didn't work out for me.
