I bought the same model about four years ago, this is the replacement. However, if the new is like the old one was I am certain it will be very durable. The last one went about four years during which it lived outside full time. The primary users were a handful of children who treated it like a swingset, it did not have an easy life. A squirrel chewed some of the fabric near the rope but it was still fine for another year. It started to finally tear near the chewed up part so I replaced it before it failed entirely. ... show more

I LOVE this hammock!! Super lightweight and compact for easy packing. All the while, super durable and easy to set up. Having never set up a hammock in my life, this guy took me q0 minutes, only that long because I had to figure out its size in comparison to the distance between the trees on our campsite. You can curl it around you and it blocks the wind, the bag it stores in actually becomes a little pocket handing on the side for your phone, water bottle, mini sudoku book, e.t.c. back home,, I set it up in my apartment patio,, after a long day at work,, will go lay in it to relieve the pressure off my bad back and hips,, works wonders for sciatic pain after a 10hr day on your feet..i have fallen asleep in this thing more times than I can count lol also the "tree-friendly" straps make it super easy to take up and down and readjust to the sise you need. Holds me, my son and my daughter, a combined 260lbs plus their wiggling around. It got pretty low to the ground lol but we held. Also works well sitting alone as a swing chair, just be careful to find the right balance. 10 out of 10 would buy again!!! ... show more

Bought to use camping and also in the backyard. Didn’t want to spend a lot. Bought the single and was impressed. It is a very nice hammock and the straps are easy to use. The number of loops on the straps allow you to get the perfect height quite easily. I am 5’6” and the hammock length was perfect for me, very comfortable. We bought this hammock as a replacement and we are pleasantly surprised by it. I was concerned because the connections are several cords instead of a solid strap like our other hammocks, but it has been holding up even better than the straps. Comfortable to lay in and swing under our fir trees.

This is the 6th hammock I have bought off Amazon but the first of this brand. I own a bear butt hammock and straps too and this hammock is very comparable. Super easy to set up as someone who’s never owned a hammock before this. Packs up reasonably small, so it’s pretty easy to carry around, winding the straps back up so they fit back in the bag (which is also the hammock, functioning as a little pocket while you’ve got it set up) can be a bit annoying but it’s not a bit deal at all. I’m not gonna be putting this thing through much heavy use so for my very casual purposes the durability is 5 star for the price, I got the larger size and it can fit two people, maybe a third if no one is too big. Could definitely see myself napping in this thing, it really envelops you when you lay in it alone like you’re in a cocoon, the novelty of that alone is 5 stars. ... show more
