My high review is for everything printed on the packaging; the claims of this coffee brand. It also tastes like a "fruity" dark roast; we enjoy the taste. I have had this for a couple months now and I don't feel the difference but I'm not a 3 cups a day drinker. I do wish that the quantity was larger so that this quality option lasted longer. I have to have my coffee every day but with bad acid reflux, it became very hard to drink coffee at all! I discovered this brand only after my other (2) brands of low acid coffees became unavailable. I'm so glad that happened because this coffee is so much easier on my stomach. I've already re-ordered it & will continue to do so. Anything that helps my stomach is a keeper in my book. This is a smoother tasting coffee, not overly strong, but still has a good coffee flavor - unlike other coffee - that taste like coffee flavored water. But I do not like very strong coffee -- this one does make me happy. I now look forward again to making that first cup of coffee each morning. The bag does go quickly, so for me it's not the best value, but is still worth every penny. The fact that it's organic is a plus as well!

Wow! So happy about this find. Didn’t think it would really work out, because I have been having stomach pains for forever. Coffee doesn’t necessarily cause them, but it doesn’t make it any better either and my normal coffee burned a bit once I got it down, causing me to feel extra “hungry” all day due to the sensation in my belly. This stuff truly made that side affect 10x less. I feel like I enjoyed my coffee without the burn and got to really get the full benefit since I wasn’t coping with negative outcomes as well! And I got the bourbon pecan flavor and WOW it made the whole house smell so lovely. Absolutely perfect for fall. Loved it!! And plan to repurchase again and again. Great value for the cost.

The coffee is ok if you can get over the bland, earthy taste. I havent had many issues with bladder inflammation when I drink this coffee, so that's why I buy it on the regular. I suffer from IC, so I have to remember to drink lots of water or else this coffee can still be irritating if I don't.

I'm trying low acid coffee options to combat my acid reflux. Puroast comes as advertised; a reasonably priced, pleasant tasting French (dark) roast with low acid and half caffeine. It came with a finer ground than I'm used to; I grind my own most days. Brewed just fine though. 12 oz bag goes fast.

My dad who is going through Chemo needed a natural, low acid coffee because regular store bought coffee was not sitting well in his stomach. This puroast low-acid coffee is just what he needed. He says the taste is not perfect, but that could also be because of his chemo. Was a little concerned about the packaging. Most coffee packs I have bought are vacuum sealed, this one was either not vacuum sealed or a leak occurred in shipping. Have never bought from them before so I do not know if this is how their coffee normally comes or not. Either way, the coffee was still fresh enough.
