New & Now Best One Formula . . . .
Purina has many One formulas, but this new one stands out from the rest. It has probiotics and added vitamins and minerals. Plus, the ingredients are described in more details, such as listing the carbohydrate amount. One thing I immediately noticed, too, was the 10% fiber amount. That's very high as dry food goes, even higher than most hairball formulas. Your average dry food has 2-3% fiber. Thus, make sure you transition this food, mixing it in parts with the current dry you are feeding. So high a fiber change could cause GI tract problems. Did this food cause any GI tract problems with my cats? No, just the opposite. One of my cats had on and off diarrhea, something the other cats never had. After I started feeding this formula, he no longer has that problem. Hence, I am very happy about that. Chicken is the #1 ingredient, not chicken by-product meal, as a Vine review incorrectly states. It also has peas, which I wish it did not, since there is still some question about peas causing heart problems in cats. I figure, though, the peas are so far down on the ingredients list that it probably doesn't matter with this food. Will I keep buying this food? Definitely. It costs a little more than the other Purina One types I have bought, but it's worth it when it stops GI tract problems. It has no off smell, either, and all my cats love it. Solid everyday cat food
My cat actually eats this consistently This has been a dependable cat food for us. My cat eats it regularly and hasn’t had any stomach issues with it. I also like that it feels a little better than the really cheap brands without being overpriced. Nothing magical, just a solid food that’s worked well in my house. Weird pieces
Questioning this cat food cause some buts are soft and kind of big and some are small and crunchy. Since eating my cat has regurgitated more which I think from bigger piece and different textures, I already use puzzle feeder for her cause she’s a too fast eater but issues was resolved when switch to the whole body. I love the brand it’s the “whole body” that is the issue. She was on high protein kitten purine one but she turned one and switched I switch slowly blending food and was fine until last few weeks when noticed the bigger different textured pieces for now with this bag I’ll just remove those pieces. So far no vomiting issues
I thought I would give this a try I usually buy the Purina One high protein that helps with weight loss. Have purchased the latter for year9s with no problems As my cats get older so does their nutritional needs. This product seems to be working All the cats like it
