These reusable mesh bags are fantastic. I decided to get them after looking at all the different options on Amazon. One of the reasons why I got them was because they donate a portion of each purchase to help promote sustainable living- I think that’s a great cause. People don’t realize the effect that certain things have on the environment. That’s the same reason why I eliminated plastic bags from the house with reusable shopping bags and switched to eco-friendly swedish dishcloths! Now to talk about the actual bags: Ive been using them for a couple weeks now and they’re holding up great. You can tell that they’re high quality. They’re foldable and compact as well- I have some in the car and some in my bag. Where I live, some of the stores give you a discount too if you opt not to use their plastic bags which is a nice plus! The pull cord to close the bag is also well-made and durable. I use them for a variety of stuff but 80% of the time its produce. I think thats what most people use them for actually. It’s super convenient because you just put them in the bag at the store and then you can put them directly into the fridge like that when you get home. The mesh material is breathable so you don’t have to worry about it going bad. Actually in my experience the product actually stays fresh for longer as opposed to if you have to in a plastic bag. Cleaning isn’t a hassle either since you can throw the bags directly into the washing machine- in fact, that’s one of their selling points. I usually wash them together with my other eco bags in one load with mild detergent. I leave them out to dry afterwards and that’s that. Just don’t put more than three in at a time since the pull cords will tangle…at least thats what it says in the directions. I have a couple of stains on one of the bags from some squished fruit that didn’t really come out but honestly it doesn’t really bother me. I also like how the set comes with multiple sizes. I can pretty much fit anything in them. The largest bag I would say that you can easily fit several pounds of stuff. I know I’ve done that with fruit. The only thing you want to be careful of is sharp points since that can damage the mesh. The only con for me is that the bag is not very translucent which means that the cashier may have trouble scanning your stuff at the till. 9/10 they’ll have to open the bag to get to the scan code which can take longer. That reminds me…remember to get them to ring in the bag weight! The tare weight is on the color tag on the bag. You’ll be paying extra for absolutely no reason otherwise. Overall I would buy them again. Anything to prevent more plastic from ending up in the landfill. Remember guys…those things are going to stay there for hundreds of years!!

These bags are even better than I thought they would be. They’re lightweight but the material is very sturdy and durable. The mesh would work great for small grains as well. The drawstring makes it very easy to use. 10/10!!

Yes, I know they’re produce bags, but they can be used for so much more! I use them as storage bags for my knitting projects, and they are large enough to hold a sweater quantity of yarn, the pattern, needles, notions, etc. These bags have locking draw cord tops, allowing you to cinch the top closed. The mesh allows me to see what’s in the bag and to keep everything neat and tidy. Easy to grab and go. Very easy to use, lightweight, and a great value for my money.

We bought these bags because we want to stop using plastic bags, especially for buying produce. When the bags arrived, I was impressed with the quality. They're sturdy, with well-sewn seams. The cord and adjustable closure are strong. The colored fabric tag on each bag is large enough to stick the produce sticker onto, so checkout is easy at the store register. I expected to use these bags for produce - things like tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and so on. The bags work well for that, and the sizes included in the set are perfect; something for every size and shape of produce we buy. But, what I didn't expect was to use these bags for bulk grains, etc. Amazingly, when I scooped bulk bulgur wheat into one of these bags, nothing seeped out. Then, I tried organic cane sugar. Again, nothing fell out through the weave of the fabric... not even dust. I wouldn't expect the bags to hold flour or confectioner's sugar very well, and I haven't tried that, yet. But, for everything else we buy in bulk, these have been great, so far. Being a bit of a cleanliness fanatic, I washed the bags before using them. (Basically, I divided the smaller bags into two groups, and put each group in one of the two largest bags. Then I sealed the large bags with their drawstrings, and threw them into the wash with our regular laundry. They went through the wash perfectly. Then, I put them into one of my large "delicates" fabric bags, before throwing them into the dryer. (Despite the package instructions, I wanted to see what happened if I dried the bags with everything else, on a normal heat level... not recommended, but I did it anyway.) They came out of the dryer in perfect condition. No dents in the drawstring closure hardware. Everything looked exactly "like new." So, I'm giving a set of these to my daughter, since she's been uneasy using plastic for her groceries, too. I'm sure there are lots of other uses for these kinds of bags, too. I compared several brands and lots of reviews, and I'm glad I chose these. We're more than delighted with them, and we're using them every time we go to the grocery store.
