The rug matches the listing almost exactly in color and pattern (the pattern will look a bit messier if the pile is messy, but when smoothed out so the fibers are all laying in the same direction, it looks as expected). The hot pink is bright, as it should be. The rug's dimensions are slightly different than what the listing says-- mine measured 4'1" x 5'11"-- but close enough that it's unlikely to have a huge impact. The rug's long pile is a bit shorter than advertised-- the fur itself is a bit over an inch long; adding the rug body underneath, the whole thing is about 1.5 inches tall with the fur standing straight up. The fur is silky and doesn't tangle excessively (though it definitely benefits from being lightly petted/brushed regularly to keep everything neat and aligned), and there is a thin foam padding that springs back quickly and feels good underfoot without being weird to walk on. The non-slip backing isn't perfect, but if the rug is partially under furniture or in a low traffic area, it should stay put on a smooth floor as long as you (or your kids/pets) don't run or jump on it. It does tend to grab and hold crumbs/sand/etc. so if you have kids or pets or allow outside shoes to be worn in the house, expect to encounter a bit of grit in the rug if you don't vacuum often. The rug stands up to vacuuming, and doesn't tangle up or shed fibers in the vacuum roller, but you should be at least a bit mindful of the direction of the pile. While it's meant to be spot cleaned and shouldn't be put in the washing machine, it can be hand washed and air dries relatively quickly due to its thinness if you run into a major mess. The rug arrived folded and vacuum packed, and it had a very strong smell when first opened (presumably from the foam padding). The smell took about 3 days to dissipate, but did eventually stop being overwhelming (it still smells like memory foam up close, but that's true of all memory foam products). The creases from folding smoothed out quickly and were gone within 2 days without requiring any special treatment. Overall, it's a nice, soft rug with just a few flaws.

Please do not be put off by the photo I uploaded of Puremy's area rug. The coloration in the photo is completely off because it was taken on a rainy and gloomy day, so the lighting in my living room was completely off. If where you are placing this area rug is not a bright area, the color of my photo is most likely what you will see as well. In person, this area rug is truly a medium shade of beige with white accents surrounding the design. The measurement of the area rug I received was 48 x 74 inches, which is 6 inches longer than the measurement described in this Amazon listing. The pattern in the rug may look uneven in my posted picture, perhaps due to the way that the fibers and shag spread as you walk on top of the rug. When you shake the rug out, the pattern is evenly disbursed. This area rug has a foam bedding and a polyester fiber shag top overlay. It is banded entirely in a beige weave around the rug, with rounded corners. The back of the area rug is non-skid and it stays in place on a wood or tile floor. The shag polyester fibers do not shed and you will be able to spot clean this rug as needed. Puremy vacuum packed this area rug, but there were no noticeable creases after I opened the package. The polyester fibers of this shag style area rug were as soft as rabbit fur when I walked over this rug barefoot. It feels like walking on a cloud. The rug fluffs up very easily and is very attractive. I do put my vacuum setting on the highest level so not to grab the shag polyester fibers. Well-constructed, attractive pattern, adaptable to any type of decor and extremely soft to the touch - I'll be enjoying this area rug very much for some time to come.

I was a little shocked when this rug arrived in a small bag, inside was a plastic vacuum sealed bag that was only 1” thick. I opened it and shook the rug and put it on the floor so it would fluff up, I wasn’t very impressed, the rug had creases from being folded and did not lay flat so as instructed I just left it alone to do it thing and the next day it looked great. It is soft, fluffy and has a nice padding. It looks exactly like the picture, the color and print were spot on. We have hardwood floors and I got it for our family room so my 1 year old granddaughter could have a soft place to sit and play. The only downside is it easily slips across the room. It does have a rubber backing but does not really grip the floor. I bought those rug stickers to put on the back to prevent that from happening. Also it is hard to vacuum, our vacuum sucks the rug up into it because it is so fluffy so I just shake it out and sweep up the mess. When it gets really dirty or something gets spilled on it I can shampoo it, rinse it with a hose and set it outside to dry on a nice day. this rug is definitely worth the price, my granddaughter loves it.

This rug was really intended to spend its time in front of my washer and dryer, but when I opened the package I was so impressed by the softness of it and how cushioned it felt when walking on it that I decided to put it in the hallway by the bedrooms. The color is not stark white at all, it is a soft white, and the grey trellis color is muted, with less contrast than you’d expect. The edges are clean, and so far it feels like it was made very well for just the spot it is in. I have not had a reason to wash it yet, so I can’t say if it is great or not in that regard, but should I have an issue with cleaning it I will update this review.

I'm loving this rug so far in my living room. Its a little on the small side but I plan to upgrade to a larger size soon. Otherwise, its soft, seemingly sturdy and hasn't been difficult to keep clean. It slides on my tile floors but not so much as to be annoying. I like it and have no reason not to give it five stars.
