    • Looks great BUT no light!
I put all eight pieces together and they looked real nice lining the pathway to the front door. I was disappointed after nightfall as not a single light worked. They are in full sun. The second day it was raining and very dark out so I thought that I would just give them a couple more days to charge the batteries because I really liked how they looked installed around the sidewalk. I am disappointed to say that not a single light shines after dark. I want to be fair so I will wait a couple more days before returning the lights to Amazon. Update: I did not flip the on switch! It is inside the bulb cover, which is inside the lantern cover! The lights work as they should once the switch is turned on! Ok, so I admit that I need to wear my glasses! ... show more

    • Not a quality new product!!
I ordered very similar lights late last week, that were new, easy to assemble and light up nicely at night. These lights I received yesterday, I knew there would be a problem because when I picked up the box on my front porch it sounded as though everything inside box was lose or not packaged. Sure enough the screws inside poles were stripped or did not fit, there was no pull tag to activate bulbs, the poles did not go together at all so that lights will stand up straight! One piece of pole was rusty....I don’t feel I received a new product which is what I ordered!! I had to use shepherds hooks from other lights and will see if they light up tonight when sun goes down! I would NOT recommend these to anyone!! If they do not light up tonight I will send them back for a refund! Lights did not light up. Do not purchase this product!!!! ... show more

I had high hopes, especially since my boyfriend wanted to buy another set and I talked him out of it. Well, you get what you pay for. I like to have a product for a few months before I rate it. Here goes... Some of the poles won't stay together since the screwing mechanism arrived broken, so I have a few that aren't perfectly straight. No biggie. I did a full charge before I placed them, they all lit up perfectly for about a month, then two out of the 6 I have just started randomly not lighting up. They're all relatively close to each other, and get the same amount of sunlight. We'll see how i feel about them once the summer is over. ... show more

Adorable and functional! It was tricky at first with no clear instructions, but figured out in the end. Some reviewers mentioned about malfunctioning but please note that you must turn the switch to ON first. The switch is located inside the light bulb cap. You have to twist it to open and you will see a tiny on/off switch. Also, one of mine had the AA battery placed the wrong way! I had to switch plus/negative sides and the light turned on. Wish the instruction was more clear as to where these things are hiding. Otherwise, this $16 fits my budget and I am happy with my lanterns! ... show more

    • Disapointed! Dont match, dont buy!
I love the look of the lamps. But very disappointed in the actual lights. One is a very bright LED white. The other is a warm light (yellow). I bought them to light up the front step to my house but with them diffrent colors it looks weird. Also the warm light is always off by early morning hours. Like it does not get the full charge the other does. But they are both in open sun the same amount of hours. I am very disappointed. ... show more
