  • Spicy World. Citric acid.
Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Very good product. 2 lb bag, fair price, small Cristal’s. Used it to clean my water dispenser and coffee machine. Would recommend.

  • Natural, effective, and easy to use
Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
I use this food-grade citric acid mainly for cleaning, and it works amazingly well. It removes limescale quickly and effectively — I use it in the bathroom to clean hard water stains and in my electric kettle to descale. It works much faster than vinegar and, best of all, it doesn’t have that strong smell. A little goes a long way, and it’s now a staple in my cleaning routine. Highly recommend it as a natural and odorless alternative to harsh chemicals or vinegar! ... show more

  • Great for pool cleaning
Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Best price for quality I could find. I bought to clean rust spots from bottom of pool. Poured into a small sock tied to the end of my pool brush pole and rubbed over rust spots. After a few minutes all spots were gone. They had been there for over a year. A must buy for pool cleaning.

  • Great for Descaling.
Size: 10 Pound (Pack of 1)
Citric acid is citric acid. This brand has always arrived quickly, with no leaks, and is of good quality. We have relatively hard water where I live. And that's generally a good thing because it reduces corrosion of piping and reduces the liberation of lead and other heavy metals from the water distribution system. Do a search for Langlier Index. Anyhow, I use citric acid for dissolving hard water residue. The idea is to simply dissolve this largely high pH residue with an acid when necessary. And citric acid is excellent for this and has the benefit of not having an objectionable smell. Something people should realize is that using acid to dissolve scale buildup is simply a matter of using an acid to dissolve a base. Yet I see people mixing this acetic acid with baking soda or using it along with, for example, dish detergent. And that renders both chemicals less effective because they neutralize each other. Detergents are usually rather caustic bases (high pH). Adding an acid with them sort of defeats the effectiveness of both. I use it to descale my dishwasher and coffee maker, etc. And it makes sense to achieve the lowest pH possible (most acidic solution) to perform this periodic descaling. To that end, you want to run a run of ONLY the acetic acid to perform the descaling. What can work very well for descaling dishes along with your dishwasher is to first run the load as you normally would, using only your usual dishwashing detergent. Then, after that run is complete, run the load again, but this time using ONLY the citric acid. That second run will be at a very low pH, and will perform the descaling. If you use the detergent and the acid together, they tend to neutralize each other, and the run accomplishes very little. Look up the pH of your detergent. And don't defeat your acid and your detergent by mixing them or running them together. If you want to acid wash something, why mix a base with your acid? I also use citric acid to remove hard water residue from around my sinks, on pet water dishes, shower heads, sink spray heads, etc.. It doesn't stink the way acetic acid, sulfuric acid, or hydrochloric acids do. And it's food grade, so it has that going for it. I like to keep some around in my kitchen, ready to use any time I need to remove hard water scale. ... show more

  • Fine, but coarse
Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
It's pure citric acid so it can't miss on that point. But it's a quite coarse crystal and takes a while to dissolve. Maybe that's good for some purposes? but ... now you know.

  • very good for the kitchen

  • Great for cleaning and de-scaling water appliances
Size: 10 Pound (Pack of 1)
I use it to clean and de-scale my coffeemaker and kettle, and it works wonderfully for that. It's also perfect as a dishwasher cleaner--just put it in the detergent dispenser and run a cycle with the washer empty. This is the same ingredient as in the brand-name dishwasher cleaner tabs and it works just as well, but at a fraction of the price. ... show more
