I got this because I needed a harness that doesn't have a strap/fabric that runs along the stomach temporarily while my baby heals from a rash. I knew that this design wouldn't offer as much control as the kind that has a 2nd strap around the belly, but I was hoping it would be a little better than it actually is... better than just a collar, but not by a whole lot. I wouldn't recommend for a dog over 40lb, and not for a dog that is reactive to other dogs. This is more a harness for people who have heard you could hurt your dog's neck by attaching a leash to their collar, and less for people that need to actually be able to re-direct their dog. My dog also didn't seem to like it. It looks like it presses on her shoulder in a weird way. She's a staffy so dogs with less wide stances might not have a problem with it.

Easy on, easy off. Daily walks on the beach, my other chest harnass was bringing the beach home. This one fits loose but pulls from the shoulders when the dog has his own agenda. Easy on the neck makes Woody n me happy.
