The media could not be loaded. My last tree was over 20 years old, so time for a replacement to make new memories. I opted for this Puleo International 7.5 Foot Pre-Lit Fraser Fir Pencil tree. I have limited space, so this is just perfect. I like it is an established company with a good reputation and did my research before deciding. This one didn't break the bank either and caught a pretty good sale. I did do a little tweaking to it and added 2 more strings of lights and also have it in a rotating stand I bought on Amazon. I think makes a world of difference, and makes a statement to see all sides of the tree. As you can see in the video, it's nice and perfectly even all the way around. Not going to lie, it took me about 2 hours to make each branch perfect and filled out and as natural as possible, but that's just the perfectionist side of me and decided to allocate the afternoon to the tree. In the scheme of things, once the ornaments are on, you have to bend and adjust so they hang correctly, so it really doesn't matter much. This is my first pre lit tree, and thought the wires would be hidden and go way back, but not the case. I had to really maneuver them around to just fluff out the branches, and the wires do show. I probably would not buy another prelit tree, but it's ok. I like the fact that each section plugs from the one below it. You could actually prestring extra lights on each section this way and leave them for the next year if you wanted. I like to stagger between colored and clear, so I'll just remove the ones I added. Like others had stated, the top section seems light heavy on one side and none on the other, so keep that in mind. All while decorating, adding the extra light, ornaments and rotating all the time it has yet to drop a needle. Everything great, nothing dried out and falling off. I really didn't know I needed a new tree until I got this one. The old one outside now. Love it!! ... show more

I never write reviews, but this tree is so pretty that I had to. I have another pencil tree (Sonoma Slim) from Balsalm Hill and this one is SO MUCH BETTER and at a fraction of the cost. I love how the lights were placed on the tips of the branches and it looks very real and not at all plastic-ey. I love it completely bare, but we did add bows and that was very elegant as well. We have had so many compliments on the tree, more than any of our other trees that were far more expensive. It is also the perfect slim size to work in my stairwell. We are now in mid-Jan and I still haven't taken it down. This is a superb tree for the price and Puleo has the best warranty I've found. Keep your receipts and file the warranty. We had an issue with a different tree and they were very responsive and helpful, but you MUST keep your receipt. I didn't realize these weren't LED lights, but am not bothered by it and love the warm glow of incandescent. Just perfection! I really don't want to take it down. ... show more

I have the 6.5’ tree and the size is awesome; it’s just over 2’ wide so it is fuller looking than a pencil tree. The color and fullness is nice. Now, the issue is the quality of the attached lighting. This was the third year we have pulled this tree out last year and this year, there was a broken light socket . Yes - you guessed it- one broken light = no light on that strand. Fortunately we were able to simply bypass or repair the broken light. So yeah, the lighting is pretty delicate. We are recovering from two hurricanes where we had significant property damage. Our former Christmas tree that had cost hundreds of dollars was one of the casualties of hurricane flooding and we are under construction to repair significant indoor damage. We debated whether to buy a new tree this year because we have been crushed with hurricane-related expenses, but "we needed a little Christmas" to lift our spirits. We bought this tree because it looked nice online and it was affordable (less than $100). We thought we would simply buy this one now and a "better" next tree next year when we regained our footing financially. Well, what a wonderful surprise. The tree came, it was assembled easily within minutes, and the photo shown is right out of the box-assembled before we fluffed the branches. The tree stand is sold, metal, and well-balanced. We love this tree, we've gotten compliments on it by all who see it, and we have no plans to replace it with a more expensive tree next year or any year after. This is a keeper. We needed an artificial Christmas tree b/c the boss has asthma and real fir trees trigger an allergic reaction. Our available space horizontally is limited so we chose this one as it is narrower, about 2.5 feet wide at the base. It's seems stable enough despite the narrow width. Our cat has shown no interest in climbing it. The 7.5 height is perfect for our 8 foot ceiling. The needles look realistic, none dropped in the process of putting ornaments on it and all the lights work. Nice tree. ... show more
