I didn’t want any thing bulky as the Note 8 is already a large phone and this case didn’t disappoint I like the feel and grip. I usually have 5 cards with me during my travel. I don’t recommend putting more than that in the phone case as It was a little harder dealing with getting them out for me. I'm waiting on my note 8 to arrive, so I've been using it on my note 7. First thing I noticed was the impeccable packaging. The way the company packages this product is high end and super classy. Second, the way the case feels in your hand is very smooth and velvety but, at the same time, it feels hearty and durable. It's been protecting my phone for about a week. I've dropped it three times (butter fingers) and the case protected very well. Also, the card holder is very nice and easiest to use of all card case holders I've used in the past. Update. My replacement case arrived scratched too. Be careful with cheap cases The case looks great from far away. Once you have it in your hand, you can tell its made of cheap materials. The paint on the back is prone to blemishes and I figure it'll scratch up pretty quickly. Mine arrived with a blemish already. ... show more

Very well built. The door doesn't slide open unless you pull it open; which was something I was nervous about. Once open, the door will slide shut on its own once you slightly push it closed. Does not add much weight or thickness to the phone. I do believe this will protect the phone if/when dropped accidentally. The sides of the case are partially slippery, but the rubber from the inner layer is exposed as well so your fingers can hold onto. ... show more

Very difficult to take cards out once you put them in. The soft rubber on the inside really holds the card in place. I had to stop what I was doing and focus on taking the card back out using my fingernail and holding the phone at an angle. This negated any convenience benefit there is from being able to access your cards on a phone case. The front upper and bottom parts of the case do not extend out as far as other cases so I'm not sure how much this would protect the phone if dropped with screen down.
