First off, as you can see from the pictures, it's not small. Room for all that stuff - media remote, several games, the PS5, 2 controllers - means it eats your shelf. But in a neat and organized way. It's a good, solid, fairly heavy base and your system is NOT going to tip over if you attach it with the included screw. I've had no problems with getting controllers to charge on it. I also have a Sony standalone charger and the fit is comparable. There are two fans for ventilation and 3 speeds are possible. If you're playing or watching anything at a reasonable sound level you won't notice the noise on the lowest, but these are small fans and kind of noisy when you crank it up. It is nice that they suck air from the bay area rather than underneath as some other cooling stands do - I've done that before and they get clogged with dust pretty quick On the fan bay / controller side, there are lit icons to show when a controller is charging and your fan setting. My biggest gripe, I suppose, is with the layout which you can also see in the photos. If you want to the front of the PS toward you so that you can load discs, then the spines of the disc cases are facing left. Meanwhile those pretty icons on the charger side are facing right. So in a practical sense you need to be comfortable with not being able to see all three sides. A minor quibble is the right-angle USB connector that goes into the front of the PS. I'm not convinced the orientation of the right angle helps a lot - the cord just gets pointed toward the side instead of the front, whereas down would be ideal. Overall, though, a solid entry.
