The media could not be loaded. We got this air assist for our XTool D1 pro laser cutter after we were tired of being the noisy neighbors with out air compressor blasting for hours a day. This air supply is quiet, and it’s such a good value for the cost, seems to be made of quality materials, and performs for a long time without getting overheated. I made custom bookends withour laser cutter (giraffes in second photo) and this greatly reducing sanding time to get rid of burn marks as there are hardly any now. Totally worth it!

First I’ll start off with saying that I got this for an Aufero 2 and not for a D1. The parts specifically do look very nice for the D1, but they were not applicable to my usage. I had no trouble using it for my unit. The included air hose is quite a bit more stiff than that which came with my engraver. But that’s OK because I can use this to run up to my unit and then use the very flexible hose that came with mine for the moving segments. The unit itself looks very well built and the rubber feet work rather well. It doesn’t seem to move around and it isn’t terribly loud. With my sound level meter I measure it closer to 50dBA so it’s louder than they claim at least in my setup, but not at all bad really. It also seems to provide adequate airflow. The instructions for my unit say to use an air flow above 100L/min which seems really high. Overall I think it’s quite nice for the money.

I bought this air assist in place of the name brand one I was looking at getting to save money and it works great. I can’t compare it to the name brand one but from using this one it makes my cuts and engraving a lot easier and cleaner with a lot less sanding after the job is done. It was easy to install the only issue you I had was enlarging the hole on the laser saftey guard so the fitting would screw in.

This air assist has done a great job of keeping my work pieces free of excessive char and smoke. Improves the quality of my piece and reduces the amount of finish work I need to do. It's pretty quiet, making less noise than my ungraded exhaust system with all fans running, and I haven't had any vibration issues.
