  • Brazilian audio?
This is the first time that I've ever heard of "Digital Class D Brazilian Technology". Class D amps have been around for quite awhile and they do have much more efficient job of transmitting electricity into music than the standard old Class A and Class B amps did decades ago. In particular class D amplifiers are perfect for car installations because Class D amps are smaller and they waste less energy turning it into heat so you can really tuck these away into smaller spaces because the chassis is smaller but also because you don't have to worry so much about heat and ventilation. Anyways, that's exactly what I did with this amp - I mounted it in a really tight spot under my seat and it is a massive improvement over the head unit amps that I was relying on before. Before I had this amp installed I had to crank up the volume setting on my stereo to 24-25 (out of 30) in order to really enjoy the music when driving down the highway. As you can imagine with 300 watts per channel, I only have to go to 10-12 now and I haven't gone over 20 yet as I enjoy my hearing. Honestly for $180 I don't think you can go wrong with this amp ... show more

  • Nice Bridgeable Full Range Amp
Lets start with what I like about this amp. I like that I can bridge this amp and have 2 Channels at 600 Watts. The sound seems fine, I'm using these to power a set of Rear Subs that have an RMS of 450 Watts and a Peak of 800, So this amp is able to power them at RMS without me pushing the amp to its max, ( I try to run my amps at 80% by rule of thumb). It was easy to set up, and once it was all said and done, its good to go. What I don't like about this amp. Its basic in terms of if you need to make any changes to it, you will need to ensure that its mounted in a place that is easy to access, because there is no remote control to take care of gain, I'm not sure why this was not implemented as this is pretty common in almost every amp I own, from very inexpensive to higher end amps. Overall This is a decent amp, it sounds great, I have not had any interference noise (alternator whine etc.), so the filter in it seems to be decent. So if you want a set it and forget it amp, this is for you, but if you are needing to tinker and change gain often, this is not for you, since there is no remote included, or even possible, there is no place to connect a gain control. ... show more
