As a parent of two school age children, we wanted to find a backpack that was a decent size for pre-k and first grade students and durable. We searched for something not manufactured in China, but that is a struggle in itself. We found Simple Modern and it has proven to be an exceptional choice. Durability: From surviving being tossed wherever they stand to withstanding the weight of lunchboxes and books, this backpack has stood the test of time, one more so than the other. We purchased one Plastic: Zenon and one Frozen Elsa's Snowflake. The Frozen bag has zero issues and looks like it's been barely used. The Plastic Zenon however, shows signs of wear, the shiny part takes a beating and the stitching is pulling apart. It did last the year though. Comfort and Practicality: The design is a winner for little shoulders. The medium is an ideal size for this age group (5, 7). The adjustable straps make it easy to find the perfect fit, whether they're carrying a light load or the entire contents of their desk. The multiple compartments are a great for keeping things organized. Overall Impression: I can confidently say that investing in this backpack was worth every penny. It has exceeded our expectations in terms of durability, comfort, and style. It's reassuring as a parent to know this backpack has held up admirably.

This bag is a nice size for a 3 year old! I would say that's its on the larger size for a 3 year old but may be considered small to medium size for a 10 year old or older. It would be a tight fit for a thin binder and I would challenge if it would hold a thick 3" binder. It's perfect for toddlers attending daycare, kindergarten, 1st-3rd grade or someone using it for clorhing on a overnight stay! It appears to be made of great quality. My grandson loves it! I would buy again.

I bought this in the Peppa design for my preschooler. The color and design are vibrant and not blurry at all. It’s a perfect size for her and has lots of room for the things she needs. The zipper is easy to use and overall has been easy for her to use day to day. The quality of the materials and stitching has been super durable. The material has also been really easy to keep clean. The price is fantastic for the quality and I can tell she will get a lot of use from it.

I was just telling my husband how glad I am that I spent more on a backpack this year. While the cost is more than most backpacks I would purchase, the quality of this bag makes it so worth it. The pattern is adorable. The straps are lined so they are soft and won't hurt your kiddos shoulders. Lots of nice pockets. You can just tell the bag is so much higher quality!

Had the same bag last year in the green Minnie Mouse and absolutely loved it! Well made durable and easy to keep clean! Lots of room. Only downfall to the peppa one that I did not realize until it came in (my fault for not reading description) is it’s a tad bit smaller being it’s only a 12L. I am still using it because I bought the matching lunch box/water bottle however I can fit my daughters iPad folder and lunch box l, but that’s about it she is special needs and still in diapers and those will not fit in the bag this year. Wishing they would make this print in the bigger size especially for my peppa loving daughter.

This little bag can fit a lot, but is still a small size! It’s pretty thick and high-quality with a lot of pockets. It seems to be decently water resistant, so if your kid spills on it a little, it should be OK. It is versatile and can be used for school, travel, or more. It was a great carry-on the plain for my son and now will be his school bag! Worth every cent.
