Description

The SE CE 24 pairs the traditional PRS Custom 24 combination of a maple top, mahogany back, and rosewood fretboard with a bolt-on maple neck. The added snap and response of bolt-on construction has been an essential part of guitar history from the beginning, and the CE’s voice and appointments carry that tradition forward with PRS’s unique spin on a classic. The 85/15 “S” pickups provide extended high and low end with clarity and balance, while the push/pull tone control adds the versatility of coil splits. The PRS SE CE 24 delivers tone, playability, and classic PRS looks that players of all styles can rock. The PRS CE was originally introduced in 1988 and joins the SE Series for the first time for 2024.

  • Awesome guitar!
Really happy with it out of the box. Still kicking the tires on it but it came really well set up. Beautiful finish and sound. I'm going to still have my guitar guy go over and put my preferred strings on it and see if I can go a little lower on the action. Out of the box, probably better than a lot of my higher prices guitars. Plus a pretty decent gig bag thrown in, It's a buy! ... show more

  • Plays like butter!
I have an American Strat and love it but wanted another electric so got this PRS solely on the recommendation of a friend! Fortunately, it’s a great guitar! Action is smooth, the Humbucker pickups provide robust tones - it’s just a blast to play! I did have to tweak to truss rod just a bit (tool provided) and it’s perfect now. Highly recommend this guitar! The soft case provided is exceptionally nice, too. ... show more

  • Absolutely Thrilled
Absolutely love this guitar. I have always wanted a Paul Reed Smith since i was 16. Im now 42 and i finally got this one and it did not disappoint. The action is low, smooth and silky. The pick ups are great. The tone is beautiful. It is a bit heavier then i expected but not nearly as heavy as my les pauls. Absolutely will buy another style PRS in future. ... show more

  • 💯💯💯👍
I'm not an expert on the subject of guitars, but I can say that this one meets all the requirements and more. It's a guitar used by professional guitarists. I loved everything about it.

  • Uninspiring???? But good!
Color: Black Cherry
I watched plenty of videos on PRS guitars before purchasing this guitar. A lot of the videos said that these guitars were uninspiring and I didn't understand what they could possibly mean because I thought what a beautiful guitar. Well I bought one and it is a very good guitar at the same time I don't know what it is but I have Fireflies that I pick up before I pick it up I really don't know how to explain it. But that being said it is a very good guitar but if you buy a Firefly and put some Seymour Duncans in it you will have a better guitar that is still $300 less than PRS bunch of guitar at $700. That being said this is a very nice guitar I don't want to diss them LOL! ... show more
